Hey guys,

This is not a review, it's just a simple personal recommendation to those who have similar vaping preferences to mine. This is based on my initial impressions.

As many of you know, I'm a TH junkie! Flavor and big vapor are important to me also but "reckless TH" is the #1 thing I look for in vaping. Even though I've enjoyed some cartos on a VV device, I've never cared too much for cartos on 3.7V mods because I find TH being less than satisfactory and vapor not warm enough at that voltage. The closest I ever came to enjoying a carto at 3.7V was with Smoketech 1.7 ohm single coil cartos but even they didn't fully hit the spot for me. I find them good enough at 3.7V for shorter periods of time when I'm out and about but not to vape with all day long unless I'm using them around 4.5V.

I've been moving toward rebuildable atties lately so I wasn't exactly looking for new cartos. I only discovered these last week when I was ordering some flavor shots from PS and became curious to try them because of their 1.5 ohm rating... And I'm glad that I did. These cartos in fact do hit the spot quite nicely for me at 3.7V with AW IMR 18490 batt and I've been enjoying using one for almost 5 hrs now. The initial fill took 44 drops of 70/30 pg/vg juice which was nice considering that it's a standard size carto; the first top-off took 18 drops. It's been keeping up with liquid and wicking extremely well and providing a very nice TH, better than any other carto I've tried at 3.7V so far. I wouldn't exactly categorize the TH from this carto as "reckless" but with 3-4 second drags it does throw quite a punch imo.

So here are my thoughts... If you don't like using cartos at all, imo, you will probably not like these either, they are cartos afterall. However, if you do like cartos, you prefer strong TH and warm vapor, you don't own a VV device and prefer vaping with 3.7V mods, I believe you would enjoy these cartos as much as I have been today. I don't know yet how well will they hold up and how long will they last but based on what I know right now, I think they are worth a shot for sure. My :2c:

I'm curious if others have tried them yet and what their thoughts might be.

Thanks. I am going to try them in my next order.

Sounds great! And btw, hope you are doing well...

Just a quick update... I tried a second BUD 1.5 carto a few minutes ago. I filled this one with a more delicate peach juice and tried it with a fully chargered AW IMR 18490 battery which metered at 4.19V. The flavor was a little off, I think it was a little too much heat for this juice. I swapped out the battery with a partially depleted one of the same type which metered at 3.94V and that was much better regarding flavor. I think that for more delicate flavor juices I would probably use BUD 1.7 ohm which is also available along with 2.0, 3.0, and 3.5 ohm.

Now that you've had quite a bit of time with them Vapor ... How are you liking them?

Hey Steve,

I still feel pretty much the same way. I love them with my Criollo/Manchester blend, good flavor and great TH. I think they work awesome with stronger flavors. With more delicate fruity or flowery flavors I would probably suggest a little less heat for better flavor, maybe 1.7 ohm. Just my :2c:

As you know, I'm not exactly a big carto guy since most of them don't provide that "reckless" TH at 3.7V. I've used my fair share of them but I always prefer performance of atties. That being said, when it comes to TH, BUD 1.5ohm is the most satisfying carto I've ever tried.
