Puritank coil being weird. Help please!

So the coil I have in one of my Puritank's is going bad. No biggie, I've got plenty. The problem I am experiencing is, I installed a new head in the same tank I've been using, took a dry pull off of my mod and everything seems fine. When I attach the tank to my mod and try and take a hit, it's like trying to suck a golf ball through a straw... I don't get it, it's the same base I've been using, just a different head. The same thing happened a few weeks ago with a different Puritank and a different coil. I'm using an Innokin VTR. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks.

The only thing i can think of is make sure your not over tightening ,,,

Check the air holes just above the 510 threads? Mine have gotten clogged before. I always rise out the base when I swap coils.
