The answer is pretty straight forward, the PT 2 and its not even close.
The puritank is only able to be partially disassembled and is a glued tank, the PT 2 can be completely disassembled and uses no glue to hold the tank together.
A more realistic comparison would be the Protank 1 vs the Puritank. In that comparison, id say the Puritank holds a tiny advantage in that it holds just a bit more liquid and has removable drip-tip. That said, my PT 1's, PT 1.5, and PT 2's all get used more than my Puritank.

check my past posts. I did a comparison thread of the puritank, PT2 and davide. The protank2 wins granted they all have the same performance. I don't think anyone can tell a major difference in perfomance if the non-PT2 ones are even better.
For what it's worth, for those who complain about airy draws (if the PT2 has that more than the others), advanced vapers are drilling out like 1/8th inch holes in tanks to get a more airy draw for more vapor.

I had a coop payout and got the Sigelei Puritank yesterday and been vaping with it and its not bad. I find it real airy on some of my PV's but with a airflow restrictor its much better and looks OK with the restrictor. I had to pull up the stock coil cause it was shaped like a hammock inside the head and and not nicely spaced, even after fixing a bit I still only got 1/2 a tank before the coil started to burn taste some. I slaped one of my protank heads in and now its vaping real good. Them being 4 mil also that I can go longer without having to refill.
I'm happy with the sigelei version of the puritank and that it takes protank heads( the only reason I purchased them) and will help me get over the 20 day wait for Proetus's protank2 to come around
