Please post up the health or quality of life issues you suffer. I have a feeling there will be little to no posts. Please don't post unless you have a real issue we need to care about.

I do not suffer from any and love the lifestyle change this product has offered to me.

dont post unless you have an issue. but feel free to bounce this to the top if it falls of the radar.

Sounds like you work for the FDA.

I would think if anyone was experiencing a health or quality of life issue with e-cigs they would simply revert back to the analogs. At least I know I would.

As for PV related cancer, the vaping life style is a little too new for any cancers to be linked to it. If someone did by chance get diagnosed with cancer it would be more likely related to their years of smoking as opposed to vaping. Although the FDA maybe quick to jump in with a "see, I told you so."

With very few exceptions all converts to vaping are finding huge improvements to their respiration. The fact is vaping doesn't seem to have any bad effects on respiration at all, if anything, in my case I actually think it could even be helping my respiration to improve more than if I had simply become a non-smoker..... but it would need some kind of scientific study done on vaporours to see if there is any truth in that. It could just be my imagination.

I don't know if I would answer this anymore. Guess I don't trust anyone. For example if it is the fda and we give them 100 answers of how much better we feel....and I do!!....with their creative stat keeping they could have it as they received 100 answers for respiratory problems .........leaving out the feel better part.

True, true.

The information the FDA has produced so far in their limited studies with e-cigs is questionable at best. I suspect there is an underlying motive for FDA wanting the ban whether political or financial. If the FDA ban is successful, I wouldn't be surprised to see BIG pharmaceuticals come out with their own "FDA approved" e-cig model at a much higher cost to the customer. ;)

scouts honor not in the fda or any other such org. been vaping for a few weeks and love it ( except when the mall crap breaks, the blucig stops maken vapor, or my beloved new 510 ****s the bed after three days ( the vendor vaporstation.net eric is taken care of this for me when back from vacation and innovapor has a new kit coming express to work tomorrow ( i hope) to get me through the week. I smoked 2.5 packs a day and went so far as to order from russia to get smokes cheap after my vap that 2.5 packs cut to three smokes a day, im now at zero for 3-4 days.

I hear alot of FDA rumble and such but i have not seen one post on this forum saying ecigs caused ( insert random bad thing) and my life is over . They seem like a win win for a addict or someone who simply loves to freaken smoke. a bad thing for a nonsmoker to pickup and i just want a place where people if bad things happen can post

I've been vaping for 3 1/2 weeks. My first two weeks were wonderful, had 901 passthru, ejuice from RMV, third week got my 5v, and juice from MFS, and whammy my asthma resurfaced after 5 years of nothing. I have mild asthma but haven't used an inhaler in years. All of the sudden, I can't get a deep breath, chest tightness, and phlegm that won't come up. I hit the inhaler, got cleared up, kept on vaping. Still having the same symptoms.

I am 42 yrs, been smoking since 14, smoked 2 - 2 1/2 packs a day of virginia slim light 120's. I 've spend nearly $400.00 to get started on this and I loved it for the first two weeks. I REALLY want this to work. I REALLY want to quit smoking.

Can someone PLEASE help me, find out what it is that may be causing my asthma to flare, or is there any alternative for me, so that I can still vape.

No one said Vaping was a 'cure all' for asthma. No offense intended with that comment.
Asthma can be excaserbated (hate that word:cool: but dang I think I may have spelled it right) by anything in our environment.

Has the weather changed? Dryer/wetter? New dryer sheets in the laundry? Perfume? Hair products? Mold season? Fresh paint, cleaning supplies, a pet, air conditioning or heating system changes/cleaning/stop/start.... at home, work or anywhere you frequent.

Any airborn 'irritant' can cause a flare up. And what irritates one person's breathing can be fine for someone else's. Another thought ... now that you're not smoking you could become more sensitive to other things and people can develop allergies to something their body was previously just fine with... at any time.

I noticed a tiny bit of congestion myself when I spent an evening at a local casino that allows smoking. I woke up feeling like I'd chain smoked a pack myself.

Hope you find the cause - and I'm not a DR. so I'm not claiming that it's not possibly related to vaping...just things to consider as to what could be going on.
BTW - switch juice? Try a new one? PG? VG?
so many variables...

Blsssngs,
Kathy

I agree with JJ2's suggestions. I started out with PG. Didn't have any huge side effects with PG, just sore throat, lotsa flem. Changed over to doing DIY with VG, and started experimenting with flavorings. Discovered that if I did no flavoring (with or without VG based nicotine), I had no problems. I've since discovered since that there are some flavorings that give me a hard time, some that don't. Thank heavens Capella hazelnut flavoring doesn't, cause I love that stuff. If you're sensitive to the flavorings, I'd suggest using Capella instead of Loranns...they're a lighter flavoring with few artificial colors.

I just wanted to update everyone on my e-smoking. I found that the VG, was the culprit. It felt like my lungs were filling up with it, and I could not cough it up. I totally stopped the DIY e-juice. I was mixing my own according to e-liquid calculator. I was mixing 48mg w/veg glycerin. I COULD NOT VAPE THIS.

Now, I only buy e-liquid that is pg. I do not mix my own anymore. I am having ZERO problems, and I AM LOVING VAPING. I own a Prodigy, 5volt. AWESOME. I vape e-juice from Rocky Mountain Vapor, 18 mg Virginia flavor. I can even tell when I take the stairs (verses elevator), I am breathing sooooooo much easier.

I had the same sort of reaction from VG as you did. The VG also seemed to chemically burn my tongue. I switched back to pure PG and I am doing much better and my tongue is slowly healing.
