Agreed but I will admit his design, if executed correctly will be a very nice piece...that being said, crowdfunding, being not entirely upfront, saying this was "family" designed, saying things are "pretty much" what everybody wanted...I mean come on. I will be kicking myself if these turn out to be good and I missed out on half price but that does not mean I am willing to give someone my money for a product that is still months away, interest free, with next to zilch in any way of knowing what this device is all about as it doesn't exist yet...not for me, I would rather donate to a politician than bankroll someone who could have just gotten a business loan but didn't want to fork out the interest in the long run and that makes me question the validity of a product from someone who has a problem with his own validity..."headmaster" or not...

Honestly you seem like a really intelligent dude. Would you not agree that in any business whatsoever passes all costs to the consumer including loan interest?

Absolutely but not under the guise of "family" values and selling you them "at cost", I know when I pay for a product anywhere I am paying for transportation cost, R and D, interest on business loans if they were needed, overhead, store mark up if purchased in store....I mean the list goes on but for someone who claims to be an "expert" and runs an academy that is a joke, lies about what is going on with a completely undeveloped and as of yet nonexistent product, changes what he claims about "profit" and number of units that will be made....is this someone you would trust with your money for months without anything but a YouTube channel and a non functional "academy"?????? Is it worth the gamble of it pays off, well duh, absolutely...does that mean you should just blindly throw money in his pocket to bankroll his business ideas completely interest free???? That's literally like me asking you and 200 other people to just give me money for a product that doesn't even exist yet but don't worry "I have alot of friends in china" is that something you would be comfortable with? Not to mention he has no other products out whatsoever....will I trust him once he has an established business, more than I do now but someone who claims to just have "friends" all over china and in high places??? It's a dice game and I don't gamble....just saying

I get that you deem it a gambling dice game, great; BUT do you have any evidence to support any claims you have made in this statement other than "just sayin"?

So what constitutes "blindly throwing money" other than perception? The business model is simple and is not interest free at all, not to me anyhow. What is the interest? How am I as an investor repaid? The product, at the agreed upon price point. Does this "bankroll" his business? Sure seems to cover the startup fees over at ivogo and I'm cool with that.

Obviously you're not cool with that, which is quite fine with me as my rep is not at stake here with this; we all have gut feelings but why the need to bash with no evidence whatsoever?

If someone has been misleading, you have to question why and for what reason, if they were more than willing to do it once....why wouldn't they do it again..."question everything" right?

Sure, why not, I agree 100%. First thing is to determine if someone has been misleading imho and go from there. Of course weather or not your determination comes from fact or speculation really doesn't matter, at the end of the day if your mind is made up then that is that, regardless of how it became that way.

Edit: 13:10 in the vid I posted...misleading?

Ugh...okay, let us analyze the facts here:

-First video Oct. 17th with "the idea" and asking basic feedback
-Second video Oct. 26th (six days mind you) getting IVOGO, Shenzen, whatever you wanna call it, for my sake I will from here on refer to it as Oreo's and Nabisco from here on out...more feedback asked for...
-Third video Oct. 27th (by his own admission "20 hours" after last video) Nabisco has already "hired designers and engineers for this project" and three mock ups appear out of nowhere with the third one looking EXACTLY like finished project (with a USB port on it that 65% voted against)
-Fourth video Nov. 4th USB has been put at top for "cupholder" purposes and gunmetal gray has been picked due to it being "the perfect mix of grey, black and silver" and when he explains that the 510 will be flush mounted but does not appear that way because "MY photoshop skills are not that good" ....huh??? I thought that Oreo and Nabisco were sending these to him, not him at home with "photoshop" He also goes on to talk about price and went off of what "people" told him...according to him the "people" said that 140.00 USD was fair
-Kickstarter was supposedly "against e-cigs" so indiegogo was selected over congravapes....whatever...just throwing that in there too
-Fifth video Nov. 20th Indiegogo was obviously selected for his crowdfunding and he informs everyone how "perk purchases" are in fact "non-refundable" and "once you put in money for a perk that money is gone"...these are all quotes from him btw and bear in mind that paypal refund policy also bears heavily on the "sellers" refund policy which he has already put out there as and I qoute "non-refundable" and he also goes on to say (but this is nowhere in writing btw) that "he will take care of you" if you have a warranty issue
-Video 5.1 Nov. 23rd He starts out by saying that "I want to put everyones mind at ease" and also states "I have not gone into detail with the DNA 40 chip"...at this point there is already almost 10,000.00 in the bag and people don't know what they are getting???? He starts going into how he has a "youtube career" and how "indiegogo takes 9% off the top and I have to pay federal taxes" and how after he pays for the mods he has only "29 dollars" for shipping and handling and magnetic doors and a usb cable...hmmmm, sounds like he is claiming no profit here to me...take it as you will...and once again he talks about how if anything goes wrong with the unit he will "personally take care of you" but yet still nothing in writing on his site or anything legally binding...
-Video 5.2 Nov. 28th he states he is selling this item to you "pretty much at cost" and how the color being released in first run "will never, ever be made again" to signify the "first run" and how he already has "concerns" about how this mod may not be considered a "great mod" due to it being designed as your average vapors "all day beater" and basically "reassures" everyone participating in his crowdfunding that it will be an "immaculate mod"
-Video 5.3 Nov. 29th is all about the previous thread on this exact topic....if he is not hiding things why must he address one person on a forum???
-Video 5.4 (who cares about the date anymore) is all about money and how he is "losing" even more to California state tax and blah, blah and blah...
and a couple other facts...

-there is still no PVA 40
-Nabisco is manufacturing this product with no prior experience with this chip
-no reference to built in safety systems I remember hearing (I just watched them again and it is never happening again...ugh, I can not take anymore peggy)
-Oreo's are still a good cookie
-and putting money into a product that does NOT even exist yet is being "financially blind" IMO (maybe not a fact to everyone, but it is to me)
-he claims he has experience in creating projects...where??? Can anyone show me another PVA project???
-we all know he edits his youtube channel comments and it may be just to keep a "positive" flow going but that is still questionable if nothing else...

To wrap up this monstrosity let me just say that there is no "evidence" that this will be a bad box but IMO there is enough circumstantial evidence to deter alot of people from rolling the dice on a project with no R and D already in place and from a "project manager" with no previous original merchandise and a "head master" of a school that he has been talking about for what, 6 months, that is STILL not up and operational the way he claimed it would be....just saying lol

Also, I really do not think I am "bashing" poor peggy, I am just throwing out information and facts and the questionable things about this project, his academy and his overall demeanor...I am simply bringing up points and why I would not do it, like I already said, if this turns out to be a hit I will be kicking myself but it will be a much different story after a catastrophe (which I hope it isn't for everyone's sake involved) and all I will be able to say is....just saying...lmfao

Also note the time frame on this project from the beginning...In less than 20 hours he got Nabisco to hire "engineers" to give him not one but three designs but then in a later video specifically states how he is not "good with photoshop" and that is why the 510 connection looks raised...I mean seriously??? Am I the only one really paying attention here, I don't even like the guy and I heard this stuff plain as day and with the Fat Daddy 510 is now just "pretty much the same" what is that??? He said it was going to be a Fat Daddy...ugh...bad mental images...lol but those are my facts, take them or leave them

heck, I'm still waiting for the redhead and some dark magic that was promised the last two days.:D

edit: Actually the Fatdaddy's 510, that was modified is one excellent 510 conection, helped developed and modified by members here on the ecf. Was used in a DIY dual batt dna30 box project, developed here by ecf members, talented ecf members I must say. Owe a lot of appreciation to the talent found on this forum.

Yeah, but still want that redhead:D

I like you invisy, but that was a hell of a lot of text. While I'm sure your post was very well thought out and all points supported, I doubt you will get any readers beyond those who skim or are obsessed. Trust me. In forums you need to be short, sharp, and if possible, monosyllabic. I see by your avatar that you haven't been a member for very long - so again, trust me. If you are posting about something specific and can't do it in 4 lines at a 7th grade reading level, you have lost your target audience.
