If they are going to list every component/chemical in juice, including everything that goes into "natural and artificial flavorings", we are going to need bigger bottles and/or a microscope to read the list.

I'm guessing virtually none of us former smokers ever complained about not getting a list of those 4,000 (or whatever amount it has been reported) chemicals.

Now I do however agree with this but it won't work. Why you ask? Well most ejuice companies will just include "may contain diacetyl or acetoin" on all their labels just to cover all their bases from a legal standpoint. You wouldn't know whether or not it contains any at all.
That works for me though. At least they warned me, then I make my choice to not purchase those and shop from another vendor which does disclose such things individually, flavor by flavor.

Let's say we would find out that Starbucks is spiking out coffee with just a minuscule amounts of [Other stuff] in order to get competitive advantage.
Some people (such as you) would not care, some would find it unfair, another would boycott and sue.
So, it's a matter of preference. My preference is that as long as it's not causing anyone any harm, I'd like to be informed.

I am a little lost. Sorry I get that way sometimes.

1st.. Are all habits bad? Is being addicted to something bad? I find issue with this right off the bat. Let's just say... ahhh I don't know.. Air? I am addicted to it right. It is pleasant. I seriously cannot live with out it.. It is harmful if it is in an extreme excess.

I want to know is when this kick of being addicted to or having a habit is bad for someone. I have a habit of having a warm glass of milk before bed every night.. is that bad for me? Well according to some, cow's milk is bad for you.

Now as far as transparency.. I am all for that.

I do vape mostly unflavored.

Cool! I'm heading there now.
Did you care what you were inhaling when you smoked?

I do understand what you are saying, But this world has gone crazy information overload. What is going to kill us today, will extend our life tomorrow. I chose to live with moderation and old fashion common sense. That being said, I do have multiple sclerosis and know vaping has helped me with spasticity more than the pharmaceutical drugs that nobody knows what will do to you in the future.

SORRY. I didn't pull the ms card for sympathy. Just to show you where I'm coming from.

That's fantastic to hear, nothing beats personal stories.
Analog Cigarette Research / Publicized Information ==>> Evolution of E-cigarette/Vaping ==>> Positive Impact on health (multiple sclerosis)
Sort of support my theory :) that it's better to know than being in dark.

As far as me, yes it's a crazy informational overload, but I still prefer for information to be researched and available.

And yet until I quit smoking, I didn't even know there were 4000+ ingredients in my cigarettes. Honestly, it never even occurred to me to check and always just thought it's tobacco leaf and paper that I'm ingesting, had no idea anything else was in there.

I'm torn on the subject to be honest.... As a consumer I'd like to know exactly what is in there, but as somebody that will be trying to break into the juice market I'm not so certain that I'd want to be forced to list all the ingredients either, especially if I needed to list exact percents else anybody could easily duplicate my juice exactly enough to not want to buy it anymore from the retailer.

The list of ingredients would be pretty useless without the ratios of use, so why not just have all the juice companies start posting all of their recipes? That wouldn't be adverse to their business at all.

If you're that... unhappy about it then make your own.

the ratios of whats used is not what i would be interested in. I Wouldn't be looking to replicate their recipes. I just would prefer to know better what I'm putting into my body.
