Q for the sympathetic: About my discarded plastic inserts...

Yep. I saw the eye droppera and promptly removed the white plastic inserts from the tops of the bottles and threw them away.

Then I saw something about using hypo needles for refills and thought the inserts might be there for using the needles instead of eye droppers.

Too late for the bottles I have, though am I right about the inserts being for needles? If so, where do I get the needles? I haven't seen them advertised as a standard accessory.

Dave, I bought some of these, 15ml. thinking I could adapt the needle to the eye dropper, but there was no way to do this and keep everything from leaking (from pressure), but in the meantime am using them! The needle is 17 guage, so is big enough to accommodate the viscosity of the juice (most "oiler" top bottles have too small a needle)
and yet I can fill from the bottom up and get good absorbtion in the cart wick. From eBay, seller name waldorfrccom. About $4 with ship.
