So this is a bit premature, but I anticipate that I'll enjoy vaping so...

atm, a MVP 20W, 2 Aspire K1, and 1 Aspire Nauilus Mini are on the way, as well as 30x3 mL of juice. (a tank/juice to make life more convenient, plus it seems to be implied that you shouldn't reuse/wash out the coils on the Nautilus mini due to the wick fiber from what I've been reading)

If I continue to upgrade, I'm wondering whether or not to go with a RTA or a dripper (atm, looking at the Lemo Drop v. Magma clone, both from fasttech). I'm fairly handy when it comes to elecs (eg I've de-soldered/soldered the board on the iPhone before) so the coil building, etc. don't seem too daunting. I'm thinking that since I'll already have 3 tanks for portability, the Lemo Drop or the Magma clone'll be for mainly for home use (or wherever I happen to be situated), although it might be nice to be able to go with it, too.

The reviews that I've read for both seem to be amazing. There doesn't seem to be too big a difference between flavor production btwn. the Lemo and the Magma (again from what I've read). The Lemo seems a bit more convenient, though the price for the authentic Lemo Drop's 2x the price of the clone (although it is a clone...) I'm also unsure if the 20W upper limit'll be enough for the Magma clone. (I've read a few threads where I've heard that it is possible...) Basically, I'd like your thoughts on the matter.

Main reasons why I'm asking in advance's due to a) the insanely steep prices for anything e-cig related here (eg. juices w/ nicotine cost like $25-35 average) and b) shipping time from sites like fasttech.

Thanks!

I have both. Both are wonderful. Both have close to unparalleled flavor production in that price range. But the Lemo is incredibly forgiving (which is nice). The Magma, for me, gives great flavor production no matter what, but it took 5 builds before I matched the Lemo stock build flavor production. The Lemo also produces quite a bit more vapor, in my experience. However, your airflow options are much more limited. I do find the the Lemo's draw ideal, for me, though.

Because you are confident with your small hardware skills, it might simply come down to whether you want the convenience of switching out flavors, or the convenience of not having to drip (or worry about leaks quite as much).

I love both the Lemo (I have full-size) and the Magma, you really can't go wrong either way. The Magma just barely beats the Lemo on flavor, but they're very close. The decision between the two comes down to if you want to drip or want a small tank. They also both work fine at 20W

That definitely hasn't been my experience with the Lemo. I've thrown some lazy, sloppy coils in there and it's still given a great vape

I've got a lemo and an rda a plume veil.

Both are good and its probably more of what suits you.

The plume i use dual coils and gives you more vapor but its a dripper and holds a small amount of liquid - i just drip a couple of drops on each wick end , though i could do more. The vape probably makes the liquid seem more intense.

The lemo well my one holds 2.7ml think the larger one is 5ml for me its easier to build but thats just compared to the dripper i have and I have not had any problem with the lemo , actually the other day a particular liquid was more intense in the dripper but tasted better in the lemo.

I've looked at a magma rda and it has big juice wells but i was thinking ah whats the point may as well get that lemo everyones been saying is good.
I always wanted to be a tank person , just got a dripper to try flavours faster and have a go at dual builds.

If i had to choose one of them i would choose the lemo.

Get both. I primarily use RTAs because dripping is inconvenient at work where I'm constantly moving around. RDAs are great otherwise. At Fasttech prices, there's no need to exclude one for the other.

I'll also put a plug in for the veritas clone if you dig flavor and their kayfun lite + kits are ok if you need something more durable than a lemo--just make sure you pull the air flow control screws to increase airflow.

So now, I'm trying to decide between a lemo, a magma, and a veritas. lol. Thanks all for the re:s! I'm thinking about just going with a RDA for my next purchase. I'll have 2-3 Aspire tanks (still on their way from FT. The tanks are still marked as "Information received". ugh. My MVP 20W, ordered a week after from Healthcabin's, already arrived.) for work/moving around. I'm veering toward the Veritas/RDA. It's super compelling since I'll be able to switch out flavors on a whim (planning on DIYing several flavors at a time (local e-juice runs around $30/30mL here!). Plus, it won't wet my pants if I take it out.

ahnyoung
i have all three, get the marquis clone, beats ALL of them
magma was a waste of time for me, leaked
veritas is harder to build on
lemo is decent
but the marquis beats them all the one on fasttech is very good
