Apparently pulmonologists in Qatar aren't required to study the causes of smoking-related diseases:

However, a pulmonologist who declined to be identified said that this type of cigarette can easily lull users into a false sense of security, pushing smokers to increase their consumption of nicotine, thereby increasing the risk of the harmful effects.

It's the SMOKE, stupid!

I just dont get it,,, why this article is even really posted,,, it's just another worthless piece with no scientific or medical evidence what so ever, and giving this kind of article even one more second of publicity is nothing but worthless and shouldn't be posted. None of the worthless here say about ecigs & Antz should be given the time of the day or any publications more then where the original publisher/idiot first post it. In fact, as strong as the ecig community is I would have to ask that anyone seeing foolish ecig publications, or the Antz talking up there BS, NOT to re-post it other places, it just adds to the problems and fight we have already, I mean who gives a dam what some idiot post in Qutar about ecigs, it has no real evidence behind ecigs other than they are banned in Qutar with no studies completed which isn't good for people looking for a harm reduction product or choice. It's just foolish to give them the satisfaction of that article being posted here on ECF too. I say we dont give these kind of articles the time of the day any longer re-posting this kind of stuff, it's exactly what there looking for people to do and you fall right into there trap by spreading there word and doing it. Nothing against Bill Godshaw, but why give em the time of day.!! my opinion anyways

The article pointed out that Qatar had banned the sale of e-cigarettes.

Seems like mwa doesn't want e-cigarette companies or consumers to oppose legislation seeking to ban the sale or use of e-cigarettes (as the only way to mobilize companies and consumers to oppose e-cig sales and use bans to keep e-cigarettes legal and affordable is by first exposing the proposed and/or enacted bans).

E-cigarettes have been considered more harmful than the normal ones, according to the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) instructions.

Sure would like to see the reference for this statement. The WHO has said some pretty stupid things about e-cigarettes, but I don't recall them stating that they are more harmful than inhaling smoke.
