Madman here with another gnarly (not to mention very simple) build for the sub-ohmers of Reoville.

Quad Coil (Dual/Parallel) for RM2
  • 28G Kanthal A-1
  • 3/32" ID
  • Total 4 x 6 wraps (1.12Ω per 1/2 coil) or 2 x 6 "double wraps" (0.56Ω per full coil)

This is the method I used to wrap - two strands of wire per coil:

I also love parallel coils. I run them almost exclusively now. 28 gauge kanthal wrapped 4 times on a q-tip and wicked with 3 mm readyxwick. Comes in at .47.

This looks interesting. Do you have two air holes in the cap, zmauls?

Since day one, brother. I have a total of seven caps, all drilled differently. Some have four holes, some have two, but none have just one.

I believe the cap I'm using with this is 5/64" per hole. Might be 7/64". I'll check when I get home.

I built a couple of these coils this morning 30ga 4 wraps around 2.5 mandrel came in at .52ohm. One in a cyclone AFC and the other in a RM4. Both vape great and the heat up time is quick. It is a juice hog but IMO the flavor is better than individual dual coils at the same ohm range.

Awesome, brother. Glad you liked it!

This setup hits hard...and I only built one side! I couldn't imagine running both and having a quad coil. I would immediately OD on nic i think.

My juice is only 2mg, and my air holes are drilled to 5/32" on both sides for this build. Glad you liked it! Care to share what kind of wire and how many wraps you used?
