Ever since Bish published the twisted resistance wire thing, I've really switched over from HV to LV. I get the same throat hit and no longer worry about stacked batteries. I can finally use my Stealths as well so thanks again to Bish. Before Bish's twisted coils, I was never able to wind a LR coil that would last longer than a couple hours before burning out. I've been running a twisted coil now for 2 weeks with regular dry burning for cleaning and it holds up extremely well. The Bish Twist is bullet proof

i went to wind a few coils for use over the Holidays and discovered I had run out of 32ga which is what I used for the double twist wires.

I had tons of 36ga, being a HV guy for the last year so I decided to experiment this morning.

I took an 8" piece of 36, folded it in half and twisted the (2) 4" sections tightly, then folded it again into (2) 2" and twisted tightly again. In effect, i was left with a quad 36ga tight wire "rope" that was 2" long

i took that piece and cut it off around 1 1/4" which yielded .8 Ohms and then wrapped silver non resistance leads to it.

the result is a .8 Ohm coil that's really hot and sizzly and practically burn proof. I wrapped it loosely around a double 3mm wick. The results have been very solid flavorful and moist hits. I'm glad I found a use for my several hundred feet of 36ga now that I'm a LV guy

here's a shot of my Stealth fitted with air control which really allows me to blend in some cooler air to tone down the hotter .8 Ohm vapor. In order to fit an 18350 under the air control, I had to use the male to male section that comes along with the normal stealth cap.

i don't think this part is sold separately but it would be a good thing if it were so people could convert their full size GGTS's to Stealths with air control by just removing the telescope and top tube and using the male to male to connect the engraved lower to the air control.

After just one day my 36 gauge coil was already fading so I just made one of these quads. WOW!
I can't imagine a better vape! I'm sure I'll lose some battery life at just under 1 ohms but for vapor this warm and flavorful, I don't care. Now I have to convert all of my other GG attys...just as soon as able to put this damn thing down

A big big thank you to Bishop and Torque!

Happy Holidays!

I was exclusively a HV vaper, always double stacking and running 3-4 Ohms. I tried to go to LV many times but could never wind coils of a low enough resistance (.8-.9 ohms) that would last. They would simply burn up. The Bish Twist allows me to produce really low ohms in a rope like coil that really holds up. Whats really cool is that now I can use the 17670 black batteries that give me an all day vape out of the GGTB or, I can use a 16340 on my mini GGTB

A 16340 gives me a solid 25 great hits and then another 15 good hits before the battery needs recharging. I love this thing because its tiny and I don't mind bringing an extra couple batteries in my pocket

Well shoot Torque, I just got my 3v batteries and have a 3 ohm at 6v on my drip Penelope and it sure is good!

Is .8 ohm safe with an 18350? What kind of battery life are you getting?

Running it in my TB woodie by the way :toast:
