Getting my sigelei 150w in a couple of days and looking to get a couple sets of cells to devote to the device. I would've liked to have had VTC5's but know almost all out there right now are counterfeits. Wondering what the consensus is at the moment on the best batteries to have for sub ohm applications as well as max battery life applications of course not both in one cell but best cell for each different attribute.

Use illumn.com They have a STELLAR rep in the flashlight/vape community for a few reasons. Firstly they would NEVER sell a non-authentic cell, second of all the prices are CHEAP- I have yet to find cheaper and third of all there customer service is fantastic. Sony VTC4s can be had for $8: 18650 Sony US18650VTC4 2100mAh High Discharge Flat Top so I see no reason to use anything else HOWEVER these can be had for $6 and they are fine for high wattage regulated devices which you will be using: 18650 Samsung INR18650-25R 2500mAh High Discharge FLAT Top

You really should only be getting one of those two and if you like money you will use that site lol! I dont care about saving two dollars per cell so I just go with the VTC4s and besides 6 pairs of VTC4s for under $100 is unheard off. You will get free shipping to.

150 watts draws just under 30A per batt when they're almost discharged, no matter what resistance you're running. The only batteries I know of that are rated for 30A continuous are the Sony VTC series. As TorontoOntario said, Illumination Supply has them at a good price and Illumn does not sell counterfeits.

There are a few really good 20A batteries out there like the Samsung 25R and the LG HE2, but they hit 20A at 100 watts in your Sigelei.

I didn't know you could even get vtc4 anymore so I guess its a good time to ask. I got 2 efest 35A for the 2500 man when I bought my sigelei 100w+. Will the Sony's or Samsung's last as long as the efests? They last 3 days max at 30-40w. I do have an RDA at .2 ohms I use occasionally to chuck a few clouds.

The efest 35A are quite well known to actually be LG HE2 20A batts. OTOH, I don't know if all Efest 2500 mAh are those batts.

If they are, IMO they will last as long as the Samsung 25R, a bit longer than the VTC4 and a bit less than the VTC5.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I bookmarked that website for future use and picked up a pair of 25r's to put in the rotation. 2 pairs of batteries that only need to be charged every 6th day and last +/- 300 cycles? That's almost 5 years of use! I doubt they'll last that long but it seems money well spent.
