What is best about the 5v mod, if you are using 3 or 3.2 ohm cartos (virtually the same wattage as a 3.7v mod with a LR carto)
there is a big difference to the better in my opinion.
Wth a 3.7v mod, you have battery fall off. The voltage slowly decreases and the vapor and flavor will diminish as the voltage drops. With a 5v mod, the box regulates approximately 8 volts from the 2 batteries, and regulates it down to 5v. The beauty of this is that the batteries shut down long before the combined voltage drops below 5v. So the first vape is as good as the last vape, when it finally shuts down for recharge. The reason the mod shuts down is the protection circuit in the batteries.
So, the 3.7v is great for its size, and does do a good job replicationg higher voltage vaping with LR stuff, but the voltage drops off slightly and you start to notice it 60 to 70% through your batterylife
But the 5v will be perfectly consistant, plus you are probably getting a little more battery life with the 5v if you made a proper comparison.
It was delivered and in perfect shape! I got my little stealth black box with no LED, for a reason and now I want to get a flashy one with lights and everything. I think the 5v and vv are very neat, but I have issues with flavorings, so my eliquid is unflavored. Being that is what I use all the time. I probably get the same warmth and TH on a 3.7 with a LR carto/atties. Maybe someone here can give me some advice? Is it worth it for 5v if I use unflavored nic? Being that I already use a LR carto now?
