Quality mech mod

I am looking to buy a mech mod in the near future and I'm overwhelmed with the numerous mech mods on the market today. So I am looking for suggestions on good mech mods to narrow my search. I am looking for high quality mech mods between $200-$300 that are well made and hit hard. I have heard that the Nemisis is a good quality mod, but not sure if there is some other mechs out there that are better? Also appears that Nemisis mechs are hard to get (sold out all the time). I'm Looking forward to your suggestions!

I've heard that the turtle ship v2 has the lowest voltage drop (on average, ofc) out of any mech mod, but this is just what I've read and probably should be taken with a gain of salt.

Honestly tho, as far as mech mods go... One isn't really going to hit significantly harder than another unless you get one that's jacked up and has a really bad voltage drop. Pick one you like the design of, then do a quick google search on it and make sure there aren't a bunch of people complaining about it. If you really wanna get fancy, pick one that either has magnets in it or can be upgraded to magnets. Other than that, mech mods are basically just a tube with threads... 99% of the differences between them are aesthetic.

There are quite a few in your price range to choose from, it's going to be a long & hopefully fun research journey.

Lately I've been smitten with the Lab by Atmizoo. It's a really clean, ergo dynamic, beautiful mod. It has a lot of unique qualities that you just don't find in other mech mods, yet it's quite minimalistic at the same time. I love mine, it's a keeper.

The Nanos by mmvapors is getting rave reviews. I have it at the top of my wish list. I have their Poldiac and love it.

The Nemesis by Atmonixani is highly touted. I love mine.

There are tons more, of course. My favorite mod of all of mine so far, is still the Roller. It's just the perfect fit for my hand, in weight, height and circumference. It's easy to change the battery sizes, unlike most mech mods where you have to change out a tube or add a spacer. But the Lab, Poldiac and MicroChel all vie for top honors too. The MicroChel is just a terrific little workhorse, so stealth and comfortable. The coating on it helps keep the winter chill off which is a big bonus.

I'm a side button fanatic, because I have a pet peeve with bottom buttons that don't sit right on the table. LoL, but that's my pet peeve, not the norm. Not all wobble or lean, of course. They're really easy to clean and change springs or magnets out.

With that said, the copper tube mods seem to be the rage right now, due to hard hitting low voltage drop. There's quite a few to choose from. As with all mech mods, make sure you get the right battery, with the right amps.

hmmm...

The Great Googly doesn't know much about the "MicroChel mod". The only link it found was a post by you on another forum.

Could you give us more info please?... maybe a link?... Thanks

Google MicroStick by Chels. There are also reviews out on YouTube.

That price range can get you quite a wide choices.. Like Dissonance said mec mod is actually just a tube and a thread.. What actually matter is how you protect and manage it.. I'm getting my mec mod soon.. And the way I choose it is pretty simple.. 1st design 2nd ergonomics 3rd low voltage drop 4th not many negative review (not really a major problem).. And eventually I decided to get hammer mod.. Not the best but I like it.. Remember.. Its about how you play with it..

Cheers..

Personally, I love the Roller from Atmizzo!

It's simple, has minimalistic design, durable, and SMALL (that was a good point for me, because I moved from the Ego).

(A standard Kayfun is longer than the mod itself - even with the Kick. I bought a nano kit for the kayfun, otherwise the whole setup will look 'strange', with the head being more than half of the setup)

Plus, there is a great range of spare parts to replace the entire switch, for example. So, I would say it will become even more durable.

And with a Kick module, it performs amazingly !! :)

As for the price, it's not even that expensive for the range you presented earlier. It's less than 120 Eur.

(OK, it's not cheap either. But I decided to invest some of the 6000 Eur saved in the last five years, and buy myself something pretty and durable. With the EU e-cig bans coming closer, and all that :( )

Hunt the Super T site next week and pick up a Super T ELA. Super high quality and accommodates any 18000 size battery

only problem is that the ELA has a horrible voltage drop without upgrades, and it's quite outside his budget (usually $400+). you'll definitely want the sat switch with the ELA.

with your budget, a gp paps v3 (around $150-180 average used price) or paps x ($180-200 average used price) sounds great. versatile, well built, and amazing switches. you can see them in the classifieds pretty often. it's hard to find mods that are as universally loved as the GP mods.

if you're lucky, you can find an MCR-101 (full setup around $200). it's my favorite mod hands down at the moment. you can contact the manufacturer directly to see if you can order one

I agree, The Reo is a great mod, that delivers fresh flavor constantly. The tank attys kind of fail in that regard, because nothing in the world beats direct drip flavor and the Reo takes the hassle out of direct drip but not the flavor. I love my Grand!

I still need a Paps to see what all the love is about. I don't think I've heard a sorrowful regretful note out of anyone. Surely there's a quirk with them somewhere. Even the nemesis has a crunchy button quirk but is easily fixed.

i personally love the clean flavor of a proper setup genesis over dripping. mesh > cotton when it comes to clean pure flavor.

the gp switches are ridiculously smooth and have a short throw. definitely no issues with the button/switch/topcaps. my personal problems with the X is that it's 23mm and that there are no single tube options. i'm not a big fan of tube extensions. the only issue with the v3 is the logo. i just personally don't like their circle logo thingy. there's also no option of magnets instead of the spring. the problem with the spring is if you want to go REALLY low ohms. it tends to heat the button up since the spring is thin. but most of my gripes are just really nitpicky. but if you're going to spend $200-300, you really want to do your research and pick your personal favorite.

i also notice OP is from southern california. go to a lot of b&ms and try things out. there's tons of vape shops and regulars that carry interesting mods. test them out and find out their pros and cons. if you're aiming for pure voltage drop with a simple style, definitely try out bay city vapor's XXIX or Surfrider. they're really great mods as well.

Nanos Single tube | mmvapors.com

Take a look at the Nanos by MMVapors. The above link is for the single tube version, but they also have the mixed tube version where you can have tube sections in different materials and finishes.
For the money you are willing to spend you can have two of the Nanos.
The switch on the Nanos is a new design and there is no other switch like it. It is only 7mm thick, which makes this mod very, very short. They will releasing a dripper in the near future that will be able to be used as a hybrid with the Nanos, which will make it 5mm shorter. The switch has 6 small magnets which provide the "spring" function as well as the "locking" function. You only have to rotate the switch 7mm to lock and unlock. You can just flick it with one finger while holding it in your hand.
If you like side button mods they also have the Poldiac.
I have two of the Poldiacs and one of the Nanos. I will be getting another Nanos when they release the dripper.
MMVapors has great customer service and every part for their mods is available for purchase if every needed or you want to make changes.
And everything is always in stock and available. They have super fast shipping.
