Wow.. totally didn't expect to find such a thriving queer community on here! What a pleasant surprise!

I know it's buried in this thread's history, but as far as people using gay words.. it doesn't really bother me unless they intend it to be offensive. I can't stand the little gits using the word "gay" as a synonym for stupid though.. it's a pet peeve of mine.

I apologize... (see the "I am sorry" thread which is "Outside").

I was engaged to a woman for 3 years and I felt that I had the right to say "That is so gay" and the like... now I am with a man again (and if I want to be with a woman.. he is generally accepting of it.. he knows I am probably a lesbian who fell in love with a man by accident) and I cannot seem to break the habit.

I use those types of sayings when I mean "silly" or "femme" or NON masculine... and although I occasionally say it in a derogatory way (I have difficulty with femininity and I often see it as a weakness... but I am working on that in therapy lol!)... I do not mean it offensively.

So.. if you guys want to kick me out of the gay group... I will be okay with it... but I will still flirt with Kate and Elle a lot... I like them :)

Edit.. Oh I forgot Rita!

Awww no need to appologise no offence was taken :) I don't mind if people I know say it, I know they don't mean it but some of the gadget blogs I read do hehe, sometimes I just wish they would come out if they were that afraid of gays hehehe!

Does it count if we just practice uncommon and slightly demented(but legal) sexual practices?

Just randomly off the top of my head, swinging, leather and rubber ect ect, or does one actually have to be non-straight to hang out here?

I just like to know the rules.

Kink is definitely an alternative sexuality...

Yep, kink is queer :D

The thing I think is funny is that there seems to be more heterosexual kink than gay kink around. I mean, my lesbian friends tend to be a bit conservative/vanilla when it comes to sex but we get associated with 'perversion'. It makes me laugh sometimes because in my experience we're not as sexual or kinky as a lot of so called straights.

wow...

there really does seem to be an abundance of gay vapers out there doesn't there??

just for info.. i dont qualify for the gay group but i wanted to just put a word in that to me it's good seeing ANY group of people being themselves and settling into thier own skin :)

sadly i must admit i do use the "that's so gay" phrase but never as derogatory toward anyone or lifestyle...

anyways... like i said...it's good to see everyone being true to themselves... seems a rare commodity these days :(

mayhaps i might become an honorary member... as i have always said that i was a lesbian trapped in a male body.. (actually reffering to rather feminine qualities i seem to have)
