Okay fellow family members during the past couple of weeks you have convinced many of us to try the syringe refill - I did tonight for the first time. I'm just going to quickly explain my method and a couple of questions please share any knowledge for improvement
a) I work over a paper plate so if I do overfill it catches the mess
b) I worked with both blank and prefilled cool carts - used about 1ml for blanks and about 1/2 ml for prefilled and only had a couple where a little juice came out of the battery end
c) I let them sit on the paper plate for a couple of minutes - if no juice escapes I replace the cap and condoms and plan to let them sit at least overnight
d) If there is a little juice drop coming out - wipe it down and let it sit a little longer

Do you replace the caps and condoms for storage until using?
I just rinsed my syringe in a glass of hot water when changing flavors - should this be okay?
How do you fill syringe once juice bottle is almost half empty - tip to the side?

Thank you in advance for your replies....the inexperienced one:facepalm:

I'm no expert Iowa Gal...But I do replace the caps and condoms for storage. I use a drip tip, but when I'm out and others want to try I have the caps in there already. (I carry several carts when I go out & don't really like the idea of sharing the drip tip I'm currently using ) When I get home I can clean the carts they used. I also always clean the syringe with hot water in between flavors and when I'm done. As for the bottle..Tip it to the side when it gets low is how I do it. I always keep a couple bottles of each flavor I use so when it gets too low, I'll start the next bottle & just use that one for dripping with. I hope I helped answer something for you. I'm sure someone who's done this longer will tell you more ♥

You don't need to replace the condoms if you are using the cart within a week; def replace the mouthpiece gasket though. Also, the drip end of the juice bottle can be popped off very easily with forefinger and thumb - then you can get the syringe in closer to the side of the bottle when it gets low. One other comment on all the rave posts about how great syringe filling is: They are all true when you fill a fresh blank cart, but if you refill the same cart multiple times, you are better off topping off by dripping IMO. Continuing to force 1ml of juice into a used cool cart is a waste of juice; as the performance degrades, you only end up actually vaping what you can drip in, which will be between 10 and 15 drops after a few refills; anymore is just wasting juice as it won't migrate to the wick anyway.

try this....LEAVE the plug and bottom cap on the cartomizer. REMOVE the top cap and the white rubber top with the hole in the center. Load the syringe with about 1 ML of juice per carto that you are filling. Place the needle against the inside wall of the cartomizer and press the needle all the way down to the bottom. Fill it by pressing on the plunger slowly until you see the juice overfill the polyfill slightly. THEN, pull the plunger BACK until it just looks DAMP, not soaked anymore.

replace the white rubber top and the top cap and Shake the living daylights out of it. Remove the cap and white rubber top and wipe off the inside of the white rubber top. Replace rubber top and cap and store. Vape it when ready.
