I am getting one of my famous fibromyalgia headaches. It could last from a few hours to a few weeks. I never know. Yes, I have meds for it. Most of the time, meds take the edge off. Sometimes it helps 100%, and other times, it doesn't help whatsoever. So, what I have decided to do is ask Fishee to come up with another question, then Mightyman, or Cuz, Chapel, and anyone else who wants to volunteer. From what I can tell, all of you are really searching the Scriptures and thats what it's all about.....LEARNING.I keep my Bible close by and use it and Biblegateway all the time. I'm learning, too! This has been so much fun for me. I hope it is for you as well. Shalom. :)

    No you can't
I googled so I can't say I knew it. Hope it's not cheating this is a small snip.

    Checkout the bold type. WOW

"Hemorrhages at this time, though often inconsequential, are sometimes extensive; they may produce serious damage to internal organs, especially to the brain, and cause death from shock and exsanguination” (1953, pp. 125-126). Obviously, then, if vitamin K is not produced in sufficient quantities until days five through seven, it would be wise to postpone any surgery until some time after that. But why did God specify day eight?

On the eighth day, the amount of prothrombin present actually is elevated above one-hundred percent of normal—and is the only day in the male’s life in which this will be the case under normal conditions. If surgery is to be performed, day eight is the perfect day to do it. Vitamin K and prothrombin levels are at their peak. The chart below, patterned after one published by S.I. McMillen, M.D., in his book, None of These Diseases, portrays this in graphic form." Apologetics Press - Biblical Accuracy and Circumcision on the 8th Day

You get a cookie, a pizza, and Maltese puppy! Well, not really a puppy, but you hit it right on the nose! I gave it away, I guess when I mentioned doctor, but isn't that amazing? The mind of God is absolutely beyond words. The ceremony is called a 'bris.' It was and maybe still today, I don't know, performed by the Rabbi, and a big hoopla. That's why they went to the Temple. The blood flow is less on the 8th day to that particular part of the male body. Boggles my mind. God has a reason for everything. :)

    WHY ME?

I like to talk on this and express myself; being raised in a non Jewish community with hardly any knowledge of what it means to be a Jew and no teaching on it until I discovered Jesus. How I feel about Circumcision being performed on me!

First be assured I’m so very happy my parents had Circumcision performed on me especially on the eight day as the Lord Commanded us.

Next to Jesus this is the 2nd most important day in my life and the 3rd is when I was given physical life. Circumcision was performed on me as God Commanded and I wasn’t even aware that it was being performed yet I except as my choice today because I would have wanted it that way.

    WHY?

God said it that’s it. IT’S A SIGN BETWEEN ME AND HIM.

Each time I see the physical results of the Circumcision or think on it or just talk about it. I see it as the very first day of my life that I (ME) did what God Commanded and that I should always do what God Commands there is no maybes, buts and Etc . That if I don’t I fail myself and I am ashamed of myself I know better and then I look at the CROSS AND SEE WHAT JESUS DID for me and I get rest and comfort knowing God forgave me already and then with tears of joy like right now I realizing God’s love and power that He Has brought Himself to a the place that He IS able to forget what I done and forgive me at the same time. THAT’S LOVE of GOD. ,Love is not what you get; it’s what you give.

I learned what love is because God loved me first. I love all people of Faith and those who have no Faith I pray continuously for all people to just ASK that’s all ASK it’s such a small word and easily said takes no effort just ASK for a DRINK OF LIVING WATER you don’t even have to know what it is just the desire to know the TRUTH.

I pray that I said this in a way that’s understandable for all in the Name of my Lord Jesus I summit this to you my God.

You gave the personal touch to this thread. THANK YOU for sharing. When I went into labor with my son, this is before sonograms, I was asked if I wanted him circumcised. I said yes. They don't do that in the hospitals here anymore. You have to go back and have it done, but I'm not sure if it's on the 8th day. I don't think it was. But you, MM, are under the Old Testament covenant and the New Testament covenant....like my daddy, you've got the best of both worlds. :)
