hey brand new to the 510 today. I'm having some noob troubles with it. I'm getting a really good TH but no real vape out of it. is this because im still breaking in the atty? i'm getting some flavor out of it not alot. i understand this could be because of my ejuice. looking for anytype of advise. anything would be appreciated. i've tried drippin and tailpiping it but it does not seem to help much. Any ideas?

I am no means a professional but I know the problem I am having is real. I have 12 joye 510 attys from various vendors. Only one of them doesn't have this nasty horrid taste and smell that is hell to get out of your mouth, and it is not a primer or dry issue. The atty that works is great but you don't know it the next one will work or not. But buy 12 attys to get one in my book says 1 thing there is a problem.

Yes, and I think it is a cart problem and not an atty problem. If they are Joye 510 attys, the chances of 11/12 attys being bad is very low. The chances of you having a cart that is not delivering juice properly, especially if you are relatively new to vaping, is pretty high.

Is this a problem if you drip 3-4 drops directly onto the bridge and vape? If it tastes better, and vapes properly, its the cart.

Are you using original filler? And if so, is it cleaned and fluffy and filled to just above the top of the cart? Original filler is prone to getting compacted and not wicking properly.

Do the attys give a glow when completely cleaned and dry with a dry burn? If so, then it is likely not the atty, its the cart wicking issue.

Is the juice too thick, like a VG juice? This will also stop proper wicking, and the juice needs to be thinned. A little PGA or distilled water should work.

In my experience, nasty taste is never the atty, its always the cart not wicking properly, or in need of more juice.

You might also check the resistance of the attys. They should be around 2.5 ohms, I believe.
