question about atomizers

Hey again everyone, I just got my joye egoc about a week ago and haven't grouched analogs Since! Imhappy with the taste as well as the throat hit and massive vapor production. My question has to do with the atomizers. If anyone has any input iwould appreciate it! The atomizers seem to go pretty quickly. I have a ego c twist 1000mah with the interchangeable atomizer heads. I have the lr atomizer heads. From the reading I was doing before I purchased this, I sawthat lr heads work properly with higher voltage batteries. I usually use the lr head while I put the battery between 4,1 and4.3 v. The atomizer heads are dying around every 3 days or so. Is this normal? Is there any way to elongate the life of the Atomizers? Thanks for any info you can give! Also, currently using 70/30 by/PG juice. Thanks!

I don't usually use atomizers but that doesn't seem to be a very long life. You might try the standard rather than the LR if your vaping over 4 at least thats how Cartomizers work. It could just be you are vaping that heavy.

I agree. I think you might be pushing the limits of a lr atty. Might try a vivi nova next.

Hi MJ,

LR atomizers run at 1.5ohm, that at 4.3v is too hot, your probably killing them with too much heat.

There is more info on the subject of ego batteries and LR atomizers on the forum, you can do a search and you will find threads.

I do know that Mad Vapes put out a warning about running LR's on Ego batteries but I think that was before the Ego Twist came out.

Usually LR is for people who want a simulated 5v vape on a lower end device that only puts out 3.5v/3.7v.
