Question about coils in unused tanks and drippers

Hello everyone! I am a newbie to this site, I've just now decided to make an account here Hope everyone is doing well! So I have a question about something that has been bugging me lately. I have ocd about stuff like this. So I have a few tanks, but more drippers. All of them are built with different coil setups, they just all aren't being used on a daily basis or even weekly basis. So does anyone else just build up a coil and let it sit for periods of time until using it again? Or do you start with a whole new build when you use the tank or dripper again?

Yes. I have many rda's/RTA's like that. I like having things ready to go when I want to use them.

If its working/hitting the way I want it to, I use it until it develop`s a problem. Some of the lighter gauge coils in my tanks last 2-3 months before they get burnt though and you can see it when you dry burn it, shows up as a hot spot, just before it pops. But I`v got heavy gauge coils in my RDA`s that are over a year old. My oldest coil is a twisted 28 gauge that`s somewhere around 14 months old now. Still hits like a champ.

RDA's if they sit more than a week I'll pull out the cotton and dry burn em..

I always have OCC coils rebuilt for my STM, doesn't matter to me when I change em, usually about 3 days of use so I get top notch flavor all the time..

I, too, have built many coils in my RTAs, RDAs, tanks, etc. that in some point I even forgot what kind of wire I used. But, yes, as long as it still tastes good, I'll keep on using it. If not, then I'll remove th cotton, dey burn and rewick it, and it's as good as new. The number is 50+ if you are womdering. Most of them ready for me to put on top of the mod and go.

I have 3 kayfuns, a hobo3, an A6, a Sat22 all setup and full of juice for the tanks. I do 90% of my vaping with my cReo and Challice 3, the other 10% gets split between the atties listed and run on my tube mech. Except the A6 which is a dual coil BF, which I rarely use because I prefer single coil vaping and building.

I keep all of my little drippers (squids) coiled and ready for wicking.
