My 50w coil recently died and i normally vape anywhere between 40-50w and it was the first coil i ever used. I went to my local vape shop and picked up a few coils and they were the best ones that could go in to my kangertech subox mini. It says on them 15-30w and i have only done a little bit over 30w like 32w, Is that a bad idea? Is it safe to even go to 40w? It may sound stupid but i only got in to vaping a few weeks ago to try an get away from cigs and I don't know jack squat about this stuff really.

I agree with the above. The worse thing to happen is you'll burn out the coil with too much power, other than getting a burnt/dry hit.

Since you are admittingly new to vaping, I strongly recommend that you learn a little bit about watts, volts, and amps and Ohm's Law. You'll feel much better about what you are doing.
