Question about COV 5v wetbox

Just got it yesterday, charged up the batteries and got it running this morning. It seems even if I am not pressing the switch it is still "burning" at the battery and carto connection. Basically, it is vaping on it's own. So, I have to turn the on off switch on and off per vape. Is this normal? It completely burned up a brand new carto, and almost melted the drip tip I had in there too within 10 minutes!

Now to the juice question. I am turning this thing on/off each vape, but the juice is getting burned. Is there a certain PG/VG ratio for 5v vaping? I am using the 5v and higher cartos from MadVapes.

That is NOT normal for any PV and indicates a short or button problem. Ensure that your button is not "stuck down"...

Talk to the vendor/manufacturer. That's a serious issue that must be resolved. Also, make sure you are using protected batteries in that.

If you contact bruce at COV he will let you know what to do. If he can't walk you through a resolution over the phone he will be sure to assit you with a repair or replacement. Trust me, Bruce is one of the most polite vendors in the industry.

Thanks AttyPops. Good to know it is not just user error. The button seems fine (but I am not mechanically inclined so who knows), and I ordered their batteries that go with it. Guess I will have to talk with COV, I hate to do that, but it seems a bit dangerous to leave the batteries in there to me.
