Questions about 5v passthrough

So I got my 5v passthrough from mad vapes. My question is why does it not have enough power to get the dual-coil vaping. My standard battery from le cig vape tank runs it nice. I am confused as everyone claims 5v is so much better then a standard battery config.

how do you have it hooked up?
Your PC USB port is only 1.5amp. You should use a powered USB hub that is 2amp or more.

What ohm rating is your DC carto? Your PT has an amp overload protection ckt to protect your computer should a carto short out. (the lower the resistance - the higher the amperage draw)

I use 3ohm cartos on my PT.

Be careful buying a 2 amp usb hub. Sometimes the two port ones will say 2 amps, but when you read the specs, you find that each port is limited to one amp. Just be sure and read the specs. I'm using the one from Madvapes, but I haven't tried a dc on it.
