Good day folks!

I have an eGo-Ctwist that I have been using tanks with, but I'm interested in dripping. Question is, what type of atomizer do I need to purchase and how long can I expect an atomizer to last? Also, I'd love to hear any recommendations on vendors for tips and attys, I'd like to find a tip that is functional and maybe unique.

Thank you!

You can use pretty much any 510 or 306 atty for dripping. I like LR 510 bridgeless dripping attys. They are reasonably priced (about $5), and last about a month +/-. They are available from most vendors. As far as drip tips, there is a wide variety from utilitarian plastic to art glass. Me, I'm happy with a cheapy one. Works just fine!

After researching on ecf I got a Joyetek 510 standard reserve onto (not less than 2.00 but less than 2.5 ohm) or so.
I bought 2. I still use mine and a great starter atty and good atty all around but to be safe don't end up with a knock off. Sorry I forget where I found mine. $6.00 about. Silver and black usually. There are quite a few vendors that carry a variety of tips and 510 Atties. I'd do a search for just that, Joyetek 510 attomizer SR

There is a learning curve to dripping, and the most important thing is to not get all mad and frustrated when you get a dry hit, flood the atty, or even pop an atty or two. We have all been there, and remember well what it was lke.
Because your first fiew atties probably won't last you all that long while you learn what you can and can't do, DON'T go out and buy the fanciest most expencive atomizer you can get! A simple little $5-6 dollar Joye 510 is plenty good enough to start with. The good news is that the atty I'm using right now is well over 6 months old.
I would suggest that you get one of these, it will make the flooding issue a lot more managable, and easier to live with.
    eGo Drip Shield Cone
Empire also has some nice drip tips that you might like.

I have been direct driping for over 3 years..
You want the best hands down? HH357-heres the link: Custom HH.357 Cisco Spec Hybrid 510 Atomizer - Avid Vaper
Yes they cost a bit, but the vapor production and flavor is like no other...
How long do they last? I have had some go for months.. But I would say about a month after that flavor and vapor suffer compared to a fresh one... Once you try one you will be a believer.. Joyes and other cheap attys cannot compare...

For my Provari I buy the 3.0 ohm ones.. Your twist is capable of 4.8 volts(about 4.5 under load) I would suggest the 2.0 ohm ones and crank your twist to the maximum setting...

Thank you for the answers so far, great stuff! So far I need an atty, drip tip and shield, got it. Question, what is the difference between bridged or bridgeless attys?

Personal prefference more than anything. I like bridgeless, but then turn around and install a bridge in my drip tips so that the atty can't spit sparks at me.

Also, I think the HH-357 is a great atty, I have several so don't take me wrong. It's just that I would NEVER suggest a $22.00 atty for learning how to drip. Wait until you know how. My first atty lasted about 30 minutes before I managed to pop it. Take my word for it, you can expect to make the same noob mistakes that the rest of us did.

I will agree learn to drip with a Joye for awhile... but do try the HH's after you learn how to drip.... It will Supercharge your vape..
