I recently purchased some peach prefilled cartomizers that I ended up not liking, they didn't have much of anything but a burnt flavor. After reading some threads on here I decided to clean them out and refill, I've only done 2 so far and since I have I can not get anything out of them. There is a faint taste of what they are supposed to be but no vapor at all. At first I put 18 drops in each then tried putting 5 more drops in but still didn't do anything. Is there some kind of trick that I'm missing?? The only thing I did was rinse them out and blow them out until I couldn't smell any of the peach flavor and until no more water came out then filled them.

If you are washing these cartos out they need to completely dry before refilling for best performance I would think, if they don't have much flavor to them try just putting on a drip tip and dripping your juice right into them, it could just over power whats in them, but nothing like filling a brand new one with juice of choice of course.

Edit, oops I didnt see your 2nd post, yup, you could try boiling them and putting them away to sit for a couple of days till they completly dry then try again. Cartos are a disposable item though so best to order some blanks probably. I rock Atty's myself over carto's

Getting them clean and dry is sometimes a little difficult, and it sounds like you may not have gotten all of the juice out of them and also may have had a little water left in them. This video shows a great way of cleaning them with an inexpensive oral syringe. It works pretty well for drying them, too, although I usually put mine in the oven at 200 for a half an hour to further dry them.

This is what I do to mine:

Rinse in hot water and get as much juice out as you can.

Give them a boil bath....sometimes you may have to repeat this.

Rinse in water so that you get the excess off the outside and also that you can handle them.

Place battery side up in a food dehydrator...will be dry in about 4 hours if you have the kind that circulates air.

You can't take the cotton out of a carto if you ever want to use it as a carto again

And re drying - it's a mostly closed-in spaced with a bunch of stuffing and wires. And not everybody can get washing and drying to work. It's best to have blank cartos for your own juices, and you can top off prefills you like with compatible juices (or vanilla or a tobacco), and considered prefills you don't like to be potential ones for resurrection rather than part of a needed supply. And for testing new juices, use some method other than cartos.
