I was wondering about these batts
22 Amps Ultra High Drain 18650 Orbtronic SX22 battery li-ion cell
And these
Hybrid IMR 18650 30A Orbtronic SX30 Ultra High Drain rechargeable battery

I did search and found info but it was mainly related to mechs and I usually use regulated mods...lately I have been using the smok Zmax at between 8 to 9w with cartos/clearos and RBAs at between 1.7 and 2.5 ohms.
My question is, are there any advantages to using a batt with a higher amperage such as these in a regulated device (ie. performance)?
I know that the vape time (as I personally vape) should be the same as any other batt of comparable mah.
Any thoughts/experiences/admonitions would be most graciously appreciated :D

I agree with havinfun1. Unless you are doing sub-ohms on a mechanical, there's no advantage to using the extremely high amp batteries listed. Performance wise there will be no difference from other lower amp IMR/hybrid batteries.

If you are looking for the same performance but with a higher mAh rating, the Panasonic or Orbtronic NCR18650PF 2900mAh 10A or NCR18650PD 2900mAh 10A would give you longer use between charges.

I like the Orbtronics - they ship fast and are reliable, good quality batteries. I can get a day of use from the 2900 PDs and the peace of mind of an extra safety cushion and not overstressing my batteries with low-Ω builds using the sx30s.

My usual coils are about 0.8Ω on a mechanical Reo. A 2900 PD in a DNA20 mod i have will last 3 days or more.
