Those are brand new, the owner of orbtronics told me they were coming about 2 months ago, said they would be great for mechs. Sal really knows his batteries and would trust they are quality cells.

I've traditionally gone panny cgr/ch's but was thinking of branching out. Pound for pound I couldn't go wrong with these or aw imr's in your estimation? I don't get into any sub ohm stuff. 1.5 at the lowest.

if your staying above 1 ohm, i like the panasonic 2900pd/pf or the 3400b in a mech. if not pushing sub ohm i would go for Mah over amp output (cant have both)

That's a damn good point. If not on phone app, I'd like that....twice. should I ever get into (safe) subs, then look into aw imrs or the like.

well i push as low as .8 -.9 ohms so all the batteries discussed so far are very safe within these limits. but yea you start getting into the .5 and lower area pick up some of the high amp monsters. as far as I know AW hasn't introduced anything higher then 10 amps.

AW is a great battery and well proven and trusted but just like mods times are changing and they need to keep up or others will pass right by them
(most 18650 AW's are actually rewrapped panasonics as per discussions with AW himself over on candlepowerforums)
