Question about initial battery charge

Hello! I just got my first e-cigs today--a 403 dual set for my bf and me. This question might sound really dumb, but I def don't want to risk breaking anything.

In the instruction manual, it says that the light on the charger turns red when the battery is fully charged. I hooked up one of the batteries for the initial 8 hour charge and the blue l.e.d. blinked like it was supposed to, and then the green light turned red and stayed that way. Same thing with the other battery.

Should I let them charge, or no? I have this terrible image of exploding batteries...

(btw, we bought the 403 based on reading reviews on this forum. so helpful!)

they were probably already mostly charged. i would just leave them on the charger for about 3 hours a piece and go ahead and use them
