Question about iTazte SVD buttons

Hello, I just bought a brand new innokin SVD to replace my stolen Zmax V3, I hope I made the right choice.

I may be nit-picking but I noticed the +/p button is a little more flush compared to the -/v button and it has a slightly different feel to it. Is this normal? It sometimes takes a couple clicks to activate the screen as well.

I ordered on eBay and it is authentic, the seller states it is from the latest batch directly from innokin. Just don't want to send it back for nothing, but also don't want it to break in a month . Thanks

My SVD doesn't exhibit any differences in the buttons. I also don't have any problems with the screen showing. I press a button screen lights blue with the info.

Ah ok thanks for the reply. I'll give it a few days and if it gets worse I guess I'll try to get a replacement.

Give it a day or two, maybe a different battery? Maybe the buttons are contacting fully and press a little harder? Maybe a bad batch... dunno. I don't want to go straight to it's a fake... but I don't like buying certain items from ebay if I can help it.

Yeah I usually don't order from eBay for vape gear either. I checked the security code on Innokin's site and the guy has a ton of good feedback. It seems legit. Just the button doesn't feel as firm as the -/v button.

I had that issue with my SVD. It didn't start out that way. One of the buttons ended up almost flush with the outer ring. I was still able to use it though...until the fire button died.

Yep - I have an SVD with the same button asymmetry you describe. It came that way and works fine with near daily use for the last 5 months.

I believe GrimmGreen called out the same issue on the one he tested. Might have been someone else... the point being that you are not alone and that the button issue is not the smoking gun of fakeness.

That's good to hear. I don't question its authenticity, it was sealed and the security code checks out.

I really like the mod, just wasn't sure if the button would cause problems in the future. I'm hoping to get at least 6 months out of it. Thanks again for the replies.

*edit* I take that back, my "-" or down button is sitting deeper in, more flush to the ring around it. Not much, a design issue

Thanks for the info on this. I bought one on Thursday and should be here on Monday. I did the same and bought it on e-bay and the seller had 100% positive feedback. I have the MVP now and luv it. I thought I would try a replaceable battery Mod now. This button issue will be something I will lookout for and I will repost what my findings are when I receive it.

My "-" sits a tiny bit deeper too. It still works just fine.

My fire button just died as well.. .... Just got it on the classy few days ago.. I did like the mod and was hoping it was a fluke, but I guess others are experiencing same issue. I just do not see this mod going the distance with this button.

Mine checks out OK, no issues to date, had it a few months now. Got it from Fastech for $37.

I had it for a week. Really liked the mod but I sent it back. Lots of random glitches. Hope the VTR will treat me better.

Huh. Made me look.
My SVD buttons seem just the same - depth, clickiness, etc.
It's from Fasttech, and probably 9 months old...
