Question about KR808D-1 New M.F. Style Batteries

I have a friend who wants to know if the new M.F. style 808's can be charged with an older kr808 pcc?

No Im sorry I dont think they can...I cant be sure because there were many models made and each were slightly different. The ones I currently have do not work. Thanks

actually mine did. i have one of those 'old school' standard PCC's with no button and two LED's. I did have to fiddle with it though. By that I mean that sometimes when I screw it on the batt LED just flashes then goes off. Unscrew and rescrew again (sometimes a few times) then the batt LED would come on and stay on (which is what these new batts are supposed to do). The LED will go off when its done charging. Another funny thing was that while the LED on the batt would go off when it was done charging the PCC charging LED remained on forever. A fairly harmless anomaly though. But yes it does work just fine once you get the batt LED to stay on it charges up just fine every time.
