So I received a few flavored 10ml bottles of juice from BWB. Being new to this all, I wasn't sure what kind of pg/vg ratio worked best for me. I noticed that BWB uses a 70/30 ratio. The flavors I got were great, but I found that it didn't produce enough vapor for me. If I bought some plain VG, would this increase the amount of vapor I'm getting from the juice? Is there anything special I need to know about mixing it in such as temperature or just mix it in with the pre-made juice I received? The flavors are pretty strong so I don't think it'll dilute it too much, but again, I don't have any experience in mixing so I could be wrong. Thanks for your input.

If you don't want to cut the nicotine level I am pretty sure a couple of vendors sell PG or VG flavorless w/ your choice of nicotine. But I don't remember where I saw it.

I buy unflavored 36mg I use it to cut some liquids that the flavor is to strong. I will buy 50mg to use on the 24mg liquids to get it close to 36mg.
Adding VG will not only dilute the flavor, it will also mute it, tone it down, and add a little sweetness. Go slow, don't get in a hurry and work in small batches. Shake/mix well. VG is thick and incorporates more evenly the warmer it is. Once you've added the VG, put the bottle in your pocket for a few minutes. Body heat is enough warmth to thin it slightly. Shake well. You can always add more, but you can't take it away. Enjoy!

As of today I have finally got everything I need to diy.All are sitting in a tackle box staring at me.But Im too scared to make anything...Whats with that ? Is this a normal newbie feeling? LOL

I did get some flavorless VG 24mg nic from Liberty-Flights, so they do carry it
I'm thinking that "normal" would be still using analogs. And think of all the good stuff you'd miss on ECF! The only mistake is spilling it . . .
Thanks for the info on adding in extra VG and to take caution. I'm still such a noobie to all of this that I won't dabble into modifying any mixes yet. Still have a lot of flavors from different vendors to taste (vape) test. Great information to have for the future though.
To safely start on your DIY recipes, use a good calculator program. There are a few mentioned on this site. ScubaDan has a nice spreedsheet version. There are a few web based calculators, InterStink has a iphone app and I have the Windows version listed below in my signature.
Start in small batches and low levels then slowly work them up to your taste/needs.
The worst thing you can do w/BWB juice is fool around with it before its a month old. Those BWB juices will change ALOT - Only talking about BWB only. Try them again a month from now. Even the taste will be different. - Better
I finally did it! I tried to make a version of Malty Toffee as I love BB Malty Toffee and it came out very good (Not exactly to the tee mind you). I have gone thru almost the whole 10ml.
I also made a few others and I think I made them too strong but will see in a few days when I try them again. I also made cotton candy which came out great. I dont know what I as scared of but now that Ive started...I can tell I will never have to buy another pre made again. Well except for BB MAlty Toffee as Im missing something in the one I made and cant quite figure it out.Still good though

Great info on your website. Im going to download your calculator. I did start out with small 3 ml batches thank goodness.I have a feeling a few are not going to be that great or too strong.I have to find something that will taste good with creme de menthe as it tastes like moutwash right now. Thank you for referencing your link. I added it to my favs.
If after steeping for a few days and it's still too strong you can add a little more PG/VG to dilute the flavor. Creme de Menthe, not my favorite flavor.

Default Malted Toffee #2
A warm creamy toffee with a hint of caramel stickiness.
This PG\PGA ratio it gives low-medium TH at 6 mg.
1.5 ml. VG
1 ml. PG (pg, vg and nic to taste)
2 drips LorAnn English Toffee (not naturals)
3 drips PA Malted Milk
3 drips PA English Toffee
2 drips PA Caramel Candy
8 drips PGA (190)
(This flavor is 90% there, still a little sweet but the creamy-note is right, need to try other caramels, or <1% dark coffee may work as well
Ok..I used all these ingredients except for the caramel. I used PA vanilla(bourbon) instead and that is probably where I am off. I was getting ready to place another order for flavorings due to the great recipes included in your calculator and will need to get caramel as well. I love your calculator btw. I like the idea of being able to save my recipes and it very easy to use. Thank you for finding this recipe.As soon as I get vanilla I def will be trying it.
