Question about new atomizers...

Ok, started with a kr8, moved up to the wetbox, and ordered the Reo Thursday. I have two 801s coming from NHaler, along with two 18650s. This will be the first time dealing with an atomizer minus the filler in a cartomizer. My question: Is there a break-in tip for a new atomizer or just put a few drops in there, wait a minute or two, then vape away?
I'm at home with cartomizers and that system, but atomizers are a little more expensive and I want to do what I can to make them last as long as is practical.

Some need a little break in period and some are fine from use 1 - I know thats not particularly helpful lol but Ive found it to be the case with my 510s. Some are a pain for a day (the juice doesnt taste 'right' somehow and its not a primer issue) then they work great and others are great straight from the wrapper.
