I have a question...

I just received my Kanger MT3 / eGo Twist 900 in the mail. I charged both of my twist batteries, put approximately 2.75 mL of liquid into the tank and have been vaping all day. So far, I am satisfied, but....

It seems that the liquid has barely dropped in level all day. This is my first day vaping, and when smoking analogs, I typically smoke 20-25 cigarettes/day. Is the device not functioning correctly, or am I not vaping enough to put a dent in it? I have the 24mg liquid, and it seems that I would have smoked a good bit of the tank today. I cannot remember the exact amount I put in the tank, but it just seems that it has barely budged.

And the funny thing is, I don't know if I have too much nicotine or not enough. Am I craving more nicotine or have I just vape so much I feel a little light-headed?

Sorry for the strange post. Is there anything special I am supposed to remove from the MT3 before vaping?

Thanks

Seems like u got everything working fine.. You're not getting a burnt taste when you vape? And yes, if you're light headed then your nic level might be a bit high..

I vape through more than a full tank in anything throughout the day but my GF can vape a single tank for 2 sometimes 3 days.. It's dependent on your voltage and how long your drags are..

If you're feeling satisfied.. You're Golden!!

Do you feel like you need more nicotine? Are you feeling light headed? Your post isn't clear on this.

I use an MT3 and an MT3S, along with at least 2 tank systems. I do use one of the MT's more than the other and normally get them to about half way before refilling them.

If they are tasting fine and making vapor, I wouldn't worry.

I guess I just don't know how much to vape per session. Many times I feel nicotine withdrawal, and I guess I am not vaping enough to satisfy the craving. I really wish the MT3 had mL lines so I could accurately gauge the liquid level over the course of the day.

Edit:

And no burnt taste so far. Actually, not digging the "Smooth Tobacco" flavor eliquid. Tastes identically to the "Smoking Everywhere" junk. Next liquid up: RY4.

Well, vape a little bit longer, hold the vapor in your mouth a touch longer and when you exhale, let it out your nose. All of these will let the nicotine absorb better for you. It does take a bit longer for the nic in vapor to get into your system than smoking. Don't rush it though!

How much liquid you use in a given bit of time really varies from one individual to another and one device setup to another.

On my ego batterys with my CE5 clearomizers I go through about 2 full ones in a day which is roughly 3.2 ML.

With my vamo + protank I will go through a tank to tank and half a day as I run on higher voltage (over 4 ML).

My Gripper with the carto tank seems to be in between the 2.

If you still feel like you need more then vape more. If you are light headed though you might be vaping too much as that could be the first sign of over niccing.

I was a PAD Ultra Lights smoker and I started vaping with 12 mg. I would literally get a head rush. I dropped to 8 mg and was a happy camper.

Is that smooth tobacco from myvaporstore by any chance? If so, I agree, (IMHO) it's pretty nasty after a couple of hours vaping. If you really want a nice RY4, try Tribeca from Halo - it's a little on the pricey side, but it is the only tobacco flavor I can vape.

As to your original question, seems like you are in good shape, just vape when you feel like it, and as SupplyDaddy said, don't rush it. I too felt light-headed when I first started vaping - actually more of a general malaise, like I was disconnected from the real world - and I wasn't sure if it was the vaping, not smoking and getting more oxygen into my body or what was going on. I just drank a boat load of water and vaped when I felt I needed to. It passed after a day or two. I also noticed I wasn't using any juice, but, unfortunately, that passed way too quickly :D

Finally, play with the voltage a little, sometimes you will feel like a bigger 'hit' and that's fine, just crank it up a little, if you are getting a burnt flavor, you know you've gone a little too high and can crank it back down. Just find a vape that works for you.

Chances are you have a standard resistance t3 coil head in so you should find a good taste on your twist between 3.6-4.4volts.. Play with the dial.. I've noticed sometimes they just have a bit of a break in period.. I started vaping with 24mg juices too thinking I needed that much because of how much I smoked before but if you go with 12 or 18mg then you can vape your face off without the nic jitters.. Take long slow drags and do a straight lung inhale.. If you don't find that satisfying take a long slow mouth to lung inhale... Either way exhaling mostly through your nose will definitely help..

Hi Nexus. So on your question of how much is too much...... You being newer and not completely sure of what you are feeling is normal. When I have over done it in the past, I always got a bit of a "wobbly" feeling in my stomach, and if I didn't stop there it always was followed by a headache. I have had the occasion to feel really sick and knew I had taken in way too much way too fast. Almost like seasickness level, green face and all. In almost all of these scenarios it was almost reflex action to set my pv aside and get something to drink instead....

Keep in mind that the nicotine in your liquid is less quick to enter your blood stream, so you will have to start listening to your body to give you clues as to when the cravings have been satisfied. Once you can figure out your own personal level of satisfaction the fight is all but over. I think that your 18-24mg should be right for you to start off. If you have used less than 1ml today, you may very well not have had enough intake to satisfy your normal usage patterns. Just keep at it and you will find that "right spot" for your needs. If you do manage to over do it then set your device down for a while and go drink some water and find something else to do until you feel better. In the end you will figure out what you can and can't do, the problem is only your body can tell you when to say when. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.
