I feel strongly that we are getting less nicotine with vaping simply because of Big Tobacco's scientists spending years and millions of dollars researching on chemical combinations that make us more receptive to nicotine addiction as well as making it a more addictive substance. It's either that, or vaping without all those chemicals, maybe it's NOT as addictive as it is thought to be. I seem to have zero problem with moving down on my strength, and I see how tons of people around here are vaping what could be considered a MUCH lower dose than would be considered lower than the lowest super duper uber ultra lights ciggies.

I agree with you 100%

I was just watching a video (I forget where right now) about how tobacco is processed, and BT definitely adds chemicals (poisons!) that increase our absorption of nicotine, speed up withdrawal, and strengthen the cravings it causes.

So even if the nicotine level in a 'puff' were the same for vaping, which I doubt, you wouldn't get as much of it into your system, and the effects are not as intense. I have no doubt that vapers take in much less nicotine than smokers do.

!

I think you are very right because I oscillate some days between 18 mg, 11 mg and 8 mg. On any given day I don't feel any extra craving the days I am vaping the 8 or 11 mg. Eventually I will stop the `18 mg altogether, the only juice i vape that is 18 is in the joye prefilled cartos, and they taste so good have a hard time givnig them up entirely and they are awesome for on the go.

But otherwise, now taht i am over the initial first few days w/drawal of analogs i can vape 8mg all evening and not feel any pangs of withdrawal or craving.

IMHO, nicotine is about on par with caffeine, so I consider my PV no worse than my morning coffee. Nicotine is a common compound, found in a lot of plants including tomatoes, and when studied on its own it has absolutely no measurable effect on causing cancer unless combined with the other carcinogens in smoke. Since there is not much established data on long term PV use, we don't know why, but it does seem that the absorption rates are lower. Basically, vape where you feel comfortable. You should be able to FEEL the nicotine. If you are getting a huge rush every time you vape, then you're getting too much. If you are going through constant withdrawl, you might need more. Just like caffeine, if you are pregnant or have heart disease, you should avoid nicotine. However, in a normal healthy adult, its not a major concern.
