Question about nicotine tolerance.

I took a 3 week break from vaping and I want to start up again. Before the break I was vaping 24mg strength and I was vaping a lot throughout the day. I'm curious how much my tolerance has dropped in this time and what strength I should start up with to get a decent nicotine buzz without going overboard.

I can't answer a question about your tolerance level, but if you were vaping 24mg go ahead and vape it. 3 weeks isn't that long. Listen to your body; it knows how much you need.

You may want to get some 24mg and also some 18mg just in case the 24 is to strong. That way you can decide which one you like the most.

Everyone is different. I use 24 Mg knowing it is higher than I need. When I vape 24Mg, it doesn't take long at all for nic cravings to go away. This is ideal for me because.. I prefer to use mine similar to how I used cigarettes.. about 5 minutes and be done for an hour or so.
If you want to sit around with your PV in your mouth like a pacifier, I would drop below 24 Mg. 24Mg also takes away from the flavor of most E-Juices. (the peppery flavor effect)

I've just started vaping and my old man said there were two side effects;

1. Headaches after the first couple of days that last a couple of days and dissipate
2. your e-cig sits in your mouth for 24 hours for the first week but the novelty wears off

I can't seem to put my e-cig down!

If you have been smoking during your Vaping Vacation I can't see how 24ml would affect you much differently than it did before. May be a good idea to get some different levels just in case... ;-)~

I am still at the "pacifier stage". Started out with 36ml. Did the trick but way too strong for how often I vape. Went down to 26ml. Still a little jittery and very restless sleep at night. I have been at 18Ml for about 3 weeks now. I am pretty comfortable with 18 but still have to chain vape to keep my analog craving in check and still have some light OD symptoms on occasion. Next time I order, I would like to get down to 12 for most of the day and only use the high doses when my cravings are particularly bad.

lol. Funny. I find myself doing the same thing with the new toy. It does wear off though. I just lowered my level from 18 to 10, my opinion on the topic is very premature considering I've only been vaping 30 days. I just listened to my body and found a level just right for me. Crawl, walk, run.

I think a lot depends on the type of PV you use too. I've been vaping for about 2 months now (was a 20 a day smoker). I started out with an eGo cartomiser kit with 18mg juice, which did the trick perfectly for the the first week or so till I ran out of juice. I ordered some 14mg juice as part of my aim was to slowly reduce my dependency on nicotine. I found that the 14mg juice worked, but it took me a couple of weeks to adjust to the lower nic level. Then something very bizarre occured, I bought a lavatube and some 306 atomisers for direct dripping. Wow. All of a sudden the 14mg juice was giving me really bad ringing in my ears and I was struggling to relax at night when trying to go to sleep. Since then I have started to mix my own juice. I'm still dripping with 306s, and mainly vape 8mg (which does absolutely nothing for me in a carto by the way). I also carry a bottle of 16mg which I use quite a lot at work when I don't get the chance to vape as often. I keep well away from the stronger juice in the evenings if I am relaxing at home, although if I am going out drinking then I find I need to use a stronger juice to keep the alcohol assisted cravings at bay.

Sorry to ramble, but I guess what I'm getting at is that there are so many variables involved with vaping that judging what strength juice you need is a very tricky affair. It has taken me two months to figure out what I need. So in response to the OP, get back on the vaping (especially if you have been back on the smokes for 3 weeks) but be prepared to make adjustments in strength as and when you need to.

After work today I went to a local vapor shop and purchased a bottle of 18mg and a bottle of 24mg. I started off with the 24mg for an hour and decided it was a bit much so I tried the 18mg and I've decided to stick with the 18mg for now. I'll switch back up to the 24mg after I finish the bottle of 18mg.

For those who asked, I didn't smoke analogues during the break, in fact I was never a regular smoker before picking up vaping.
