Question about parallel battery mods

I'm sure this has been covered somewhere in the vast ECF archive, but if I want to build a 3AA box mod with parallel 14500's do I need any sort of special hardware? My goal is to use 2 14500's at 1800mAh 3.7v.

I've been wondering about this too. I've read some stuff on mosfet (??) or something like that. Wasn't sure what it is.
