Hey, ALL !

My good bro took me to a shisha bar last weekend. We drank beer and drew on the hubbly-bubbly for several hours. I chain-vaped in-between draws.

We tried several flavors. The last one we ended up with was the house-blend. It was incredibly complex - a plethora of subtle flavors. I bought a tin to bring home.

I noticed it has a pleasant PINE flavor. I don't mean like Pine-sol :p but the way one would describe certain herbs as "piney", like the fragrance in a pine forest. Soft and warm, opens the sinuses just a little.

I've seen Flavour-art has Oakwood which could be useful, but not the same.

Any ideas on achieving that soft piney flavor ? I know the owner won't give me the recipe for his house blend shisha, but I'd like to duplicate it in an e-liquid.

I have been vaping for a very long time and i know exactly what flavor you are talking about. That fresh pine taste, forest taste if you will. Unfortunately i haven't come across any liquid that has the note in it. Nothing DIY and nothing from a vendor.

I did however find you this. I have never tried it but it may be what your looking for.

Pine Flavor Extract

Thanks. Casablanca is in my cart with several others I want to try from there.

Yeah, it's an interesting flavor note. Like I said, I actually felt my breathing passages open up ever so slightly, and it was really warm and homey. I'm a carpenter, so wood does me feel at home.

Hookah flavors can be very interesting, and those who make their tobacco have an advantage because they've been making that stuff a really long time. I know it' can't be perfectly duplicated in a vaporized juice, but how close could one get, I wonder?

If you've never been around hookah, I'd recommend looking for a hookah bar, just to sample the aromas if nothing else. I'm not encouraging anyone to smoke as they're no safer than cigarettes. But the flavors and aromas are out of this world.
