I am vaping on a itazte Mvp, with an Aspire CE5-S clearomizer. It works great for me. However, I've noticed that the resistance fluctuates often.
The atomizer says it's supposed to be 2 ohms, but when I press both buttons on the display, it reads as 0.8 right now. Last night it was 1.0. It's been going down slowly.
I have checked all my contacts, and they are all clean. I was wondering if anyone could help with this.

Hi Rifgarn and welcome to ECF!

Coils do "wander" a bit as far as ohms. This can be caused by the heat at the moment, the amount of juice on the coil or age of the coil. +/- .2 ohms isn't usually anything to worry about.

Hope that helps and Happy vaping!

Hey Sparkky... Believe it or not, the packaging and the battery are actually labelled "iTazte". When I first got mine, I was afraid it was bogus, but all assured me it was o.k. My fingers don't like typing iTazte, but can handle iTaste much more easily ;)

But, to your point, if the resistance is dropping, I'd be inclined to switch heads. I'll see mine move upward - especially when the coil is getting gunky; never see it go downward
