Did I mention how much I love 5v vaping? I just received a new mod today that runs at 6v. I do not like that at all... Do not... It tastes burnt way to quick. Cash you know what you are doing... The Prodigy is the TOP DOG!@! I have been using the 801 for a few weeks now and before that it was the 901. I got an adaptor today to use the 510 at 5v and that is my new favorite. That's a nice vape. Big hits with a short drag and good flavor. No burning.

A resistor drops voltage no matter what you throw at it ... The higher amount of voltage fed to the resistor, the more it drops, and vice versa ...

We use a .5ohm 2watt resistor in the Prodigy. It drops the loaded voltage from 5.7v to roughly 4.75v - 5.0v ... If you were to use 3.7v batteries, I could only assume you would see a loaded voltage of around 7.0v - 7.1v (assuming batts are charged and showing 8.4v at the adapter) With resistor in place, you would probably see around 6.3 - 6.4v ... Again ... Only a guess since I don't have any 3.7v batteries to test ...
