Sooo i know MOST would say that in a device like this, you ALWAYS wanna use high amp, high drain batteries..BUT..since im NOT vaping at low ohms and im NOT vaping at super high wattage,if im not building in a way that im going to hit a 10amp limit..would it still be safe to use a high Mah/low amp battery so i can get longer battery life?

Do you not have the money for the batteries or what? You bought a 100 watt device, but you're not pushing 10 amps? With that device (TWO 18650 batteries) while running a fairly high resistance you should be getting a very good battery life. Probably around at least 3000-4000 mah if you're using 30 amp batteries.

It sounds like you're trying to skimp on the batteries, or you made an impulse buy. Well that or you're trying to avoid using the charger for 4-6 days lol. But to answer your question vendors are recommending at least two 20 amp batteries, so I'd go with that. The post above should help out in that case.

true 30 amp batts (Sony's) are very far and few in-between rite now unless you want to pay 20 bucks plus and maybe get fakes so the 20 amp is the way to go as of now.......i sure hope Sony starts back up production, now i have seen some rebranded Sony cells under the x-tar brand but they were button tops and a bit longer like 2mm...........i just got a Sig 100 watt and i bought 4 VTC5'S about a month or so ago so i got lucky....but yea i totally agree this device really needs good 30 amp batts.

its not that i bought this out of impulse..i bought it because it uses DUEL batteries..BUT ive been told that 30amp batteries are high drain..in other words...they need charging ALOT faster than lower amp/high mah batteries....my builds are usually .8 - 1.2 ohm builds...but i bought the 100w cause i figured the duel battery setup wouldnt require me to charge the batteries as often..i was told that 10amp/high mah batteries are SLOW drain..meaning that if im not pushing those 10 amps (in other words..building super low ohm) that i wouldnt have to charge my batteries twice every freakin day like you would out of a high amp high drain battery...unless i got my info mixed up

I'm using the purple efest 35a (20a) batteries. I have 1 permanently in my hana clone and it lasts 2 days on average. If you had 2 of those you'd be set. They're high drain batteries but that just means they're capable of high draining. It doesn't mean they're going to drain quickly. At 2500 mah that is their capacity, so would last as long as a non high drain battery rated at 2500 mah.

Edit: I've been using my hana with the purple efest all day at 20w and it's still at 70-80% charged!

i also chain vape alot..USED to use my nautilus at 12mg nic..but now that im using RDA's and RTA's im usually using 6mg or 3mg..and i find myself vaping ALOT..maybe i need to TRY 12nic again..but i heard when rebuilding ANYTHING..12 nic can be almost unbearable
I regularly used 18mg In a kayfun with a 1 ohm build on a mech, if I chained vaped it I'd start getting a bit of a tight chest but the vape itself wasn't unbearable, just a good satisfying hit lol
