Question About Stock Supply

Hi All,
This may be a question for the great staff at V4L (or anyone else that knows). I'm not in business or a supplier or anything like that, but it seems to me that if you order batteries from your supplier you would order say, a thousand batteries of different types and they would come in a box as an order. Or if you order carts you would order two thousand boxes of different flavors and they would come in a box as an order. My question is, why do things just trickle in like Wow555 one day and three days later Stealth batteries and then Wow Vanilla a week later? If you are ordring Diamond Batts, wouldn't you get an order with a ton of Diamond Batts of different sizes and colors and not just one color or size? Just asking because I've been waiting for red diamond regular batts with a red LED. By the way, I haven't seen any red LED's come in on any batts. Thanks in advance to the great forum folks.

sal, this post is probably going to fade away into the archives before the V4L staff addresses it for 2 reasons. They are preparing to move to a new location in about 36 hours so their staff doesn't have time to glance over the forum. The second is because your post title doesn't include a shout out for them like, "For V4L Staff..Stock Question".

Best thing to do whenever you have a direct question for the staff is to send one of their reps, in this case Wader2k a private message or pm. The best place to find Wader is in the Stock Update Sticky at the top of the page. Just move your curser over his name under his avatar and a dialog box will open up, click on private message...and you're all set.

Hey Sal!

The initial supply of Diamond Series and Stealth Series batts was a trial balloon to test the market. It was very successful but there were a few issues. We have since worked with the manufacturers to fix the issues(primarily post issues)

The Stealth Batts just arrived and the rest of the Diamond Series will be in shortly!

As far as other items go....we place large orders and the stock does indeed trickle in as it is manufactured and shipped. Items generally go on site the day we receive them.

ps. I won't go into numbers....but 1000 batts wouldn't even get us started!

My most sincere apologies Wader......but if you show up in my yard and dig up all of my flower bulbs like the rest of your ilk, I see a bop in you future anyhow (unless you bring some yummy carts with you...then you can have all the bulbs you want).

My one thousand figure was just a sample, I'm sure you order much more than that. I guess I (like most of us) get antsy waiting for what we want and expect exactly everything to be there at our beckon call. I lost my favorite Red Metalic with Red LED last week. I scoured the town, my house, my pockets even my shoes looking for it but I guess someone saw it's beauty and took it and it had a Darin tip on it too. darn!! I really want another one just like it and it's hard to wait for stuff. Thanks to all for the answers and the courtsy of posting.

Whenever mine end up missing I seem to find them between the console and driver's seat in the car, right under the seat frame rail. It's like the black hole of batteries. Now if I could just find where all my missing socks are the world would be a better place.

Oh Joyce ! That's terrible. My hands tend to swell then go back to normal thru the day. I can't wear alot of rings cuz they slide off on me. I would be so upset if that ever happened to me. I hope you find it !!!
