cool, thanks for quick response, honestly i want the VV its between the provari and the buzz for me, just need some cash

You'll need a little less cash for the Buzz Pro. Unless you want one in a wooden veneer, then it'd probably be about the same............. Please excuse the shameless plug.

LOL I love it Mist !! , also the Buzz Pro is much lighter than the P-V , and is NOT menu driven , also we can run LR attsy etc.

If it's going to be more than a few weeks, also check out the infinity pro. Basically ip is longer, but thinner. I kind of like the bp being shorter, more likelihood of staying in my shirt pocket, though the infinity is a really nice looking set (& rugged, no issues with the many times mr klutzo has dropped it from his pocket)

Decisions, decisions... :)

I looked at the Provari. Came close to buying one only because I was tired of rummaging for the screw driver for my Buzz Original. Then I saw the Buzz Pro was coming with the wheel control and I knew that was what I wanted. Buzzkill and 5C pretty much hit on the reasons I liked the Buzz Pro better than the Provari.

Pulsing up the voltage on a single battery seems like it'd be harder on the battery and yield lower battery life than the Buzz's POT regulation (though I don't know for sure). Also, I didn't think I'd like pressing a button fifteen times to change voltage any more than I liked rummaging for my mini screwdriver. The Provari is supposedly more restrictive on the range of atties (ohms) you can use. I didn't think the digital display was worth the extra length on the unit (I'd like a smaller Buzz too, but it's not worth sacrificing a battery to get there, which is what the Provari had to do to include the display I guess). I also thought the price point was a little high and, lucky for me, they didn't take Amex, which saved me from a spontaneous buy.

A lot of people like their Provari though. A lot of people think it's pretty, a lot of people don't care about LR atties, a lot of people find their sweetspot and don't change voltage that often anyway, and you can always change the battery. Buzz Pro for me though.

LOL I have a buzz pro, infinity, original buzz, and three wood VV mods and all of them are more or less on the same voltage. Only time I move voltage is to compensate for resistance. Most people eventually find their spot and stay there. Occasionally there is a juice ill change for which is when its nice not hunting a screwdriver.

I've been beta testing the ∞Pro for 2 month (minus the last 3 days *hehehe*). With the improvements in the top cap (BP style), the Pro electronics and the new outside finish...... it's gunna be a MUST have device. You will love it. It really takes the ∞ to the next level.......... to the Pro level :)

I have to agree with you Wharf. It is a must have. It has everything and does everything the original didn't.

A mini buzz would be awesome. I wouldn't use it all the time, but it would be awesome to have a little matching mini buzz to bring to places you might want to be discreet! As it would'nt be my every day unity I would even sacrafice a little for a cute mini buzz!

With the electronics the Buzz Pro uses you couldn't make it much smaller.

I still think a little mini buzz would be cute. I would not expect it to perform the same, but it would look cute standing next to my Buzz Pro. A little mini purple w/ brass cap buzz, and I would feed it (lots of juice), love it and name it "baby buzz"!

Monster Says: Not a buzz "Baby", then how come you have that beautiful brass 801 top cap???
"Baby" Buzz Says: Look Doc, I know where there's a real Buzz. (Turns to Buzz Pro) Oh Buzzy Oh Buzzy Pro Buddy!
Monster Says: I will name him "baby" and I will hug him and squeeze and feed him....

Ah maybe I should name it George!

OK... obviously when I start posting these things it is past my bed time! So good night all! (BUT A MINI BUZZ WOULD BE COOL!)

How about a giant buzz, then the normal one would look like a baby. :)

RC

How about a four battery Buzz Pro dual atty unit...you could just weld two pros together to make your own. They could call it the "Fog U!". Mist would like the name I think, with his pension for improvised cursing.
