Question about the DNA 20/30 mods.

Hey guys I am considering buying a dna 30 mod. However I have an issue. I am vaping with my MVP and Kayfun Lite Plus at max 10 watts... If I go higher (it goes to 11 watts) I get burn taste. I have tried a lot of juices and I haven't hit 11 watts without that burn taste. I always use a 1,6ohm , 28g kanthal wire with cotton.
So my question is this. How on earth are people vaping at 20 or higher watts? How can't they get a burn taste?

I know you are gonna tell me "if you don't need one there is no point getting one" and I partially agree, however I saved some money to buy a mech mod (the Nemesis) but I don't want an unregulated device and the kick is too expensive for an addon.

Anyway, I just want to know how can people vape over 15 watts

Low, or sub-ohm coils. The lower the resistance the more power you can through them.

I'm running a dual coil set up in my dripper that comes in at 0.44 ohms. At a full charge 4.2V, that's 40 watts and almost 10A. Even at 3.7V it's 30 watts. This is on a mech mod, btw.

I was vaping 25watts with mine w/ 100 %VG and never got a burnt taste, tasted great.

you probably used to much cotton, its something with your build for sure. wasnt wicking fast enough

I agree with the not wicking fast enough. If yhou have too much cotton in your tank, plugging up the channels it may not pull in enough juice. It doesn't take much cotton to get the job done. You could also have too much going through the coil. The cotton should slide easily through the coil. It shouldn't be snug, it should slide easily through the coil
