Question about the Ego Pasthrough

Hello LF folks,

Will the Ego Passthrough work with a 5volt USB/AC wall adapter? I use this one:

"2 amp AC to USB Adapter, rated for 2 full amps at 5 volts.. Great for USB Passthroughs.."

My PC's are old and can't power a PT. That's why I use wall adapters.

Also, can you use LR attys on the Ego PT or just regular ones?

The ego pt basically just charges the battery as you use it, so it wouldn't increase the ego's voltage. Yes you CAN, but as with the regular ego batts, the battery itself runs a higher risk of dying.

And, in addition... I've got an APC 7-port powered USB hub that I grabbed at Office Depot for $9.99 (regular price). It plugs into the wall for power, and I have about 5 of the ports used up with eGo/Riva chargers. Also, 2 wal-warts - one of which is my PT.

When you use the PT plugged in, does it vape like a freshly charged eGo/Riva does? But continue on at that strength and not fade?

As far as I can tell, it isn't different. I'm still such a newb tho', and jumping on each bandwagon as it becomes available at LF
