I ordered a juicebox, realize I won't be getting it for a long time, but when I do, have you had issues using it in public? My concern is that people, especially police might think you are smoking a bowl. If you travel, it might look like an explosive device if you put in your checked baggage, and if you bring it carry on, you'd have to put the juice in that ziplock bag, as well as them wonder what the heck it is. Has anyone ran into these problems? What have the reactions been to people seeing you use it in public? I think I would only use mine at home unless I hear otherwise from other people. And I would think the more you customize it (ie stickers, colors) the more people would think it's a marijuana type thing, how people would decorate bongs.

People think my 901 is used for marijuana. People will think all of those things you suggested, because people are stupid. (In the case of TSA, though, I would think the same thing.)
I am going to pick one up eventually, but I would not try taking it on a plane. I would reserve it for use on the ground.
As far the the police go, I would not be too concerned. If a police officer confiscates it thinking it is drug paraphernalia simple testing will prove your claims that it is what it is - a nicotine/vapor box.
I have hit my PT while around some officers and the road and haven't been stopped (knock on wood). I don't think I would wave the JB around in an officers face, and would think reactions to use in my car would be the same as the PT - a non-event.

I would not be worried about people thinking it is used for marijuana. I don't think they look anything like marijuana stuff. I truly wouldn't worry about using it in public, people may be curious and ask what it is but then you have a chance to educate a little bit.
I have nothing to hide, but if the police get close up to you, evne if you are doing nothing currently wrong that got their attention, everything becomes "plane view" for them, so if you had anything else illegal, you will get in trouble. If your registration, inspection, are not up to date, you'll get caught. So you give them a reason to come up to you by doing this.
Getting pulled over is more than an inconvenience.
Oh no, I agree with you, but what I am saying is that the odds of you getting pulled over for it are slim to none. While driving, the police have to pay attention to the roads, etc too, so unless you are making a driving offense it is unlikely an officer would notice you using a JB.
I guess it depends upon the police in your area and the time of year, too. Right now it is COLD where I am, plus with the holidays they are already making plenty of arrests without worrying about LED lights going in someone's car. I cannot see an officer wanting to exit his warm squad car to come investigate my PT when I do not appear to be driving under the influence.
