Hi folks
Im looking at getting a reo 2.1 with the 490 bat and the reomizer, and Im wondering if you "over-squonk" abit, does the extra juice end up in the drip cup or does it drain back into the bottle?
It would seem it would be very pocket friendly if it went back into the bottle.
I recently passed the 1yr mark vaping and bought a quality tube mod and a terminator.
The juice control on the term completely changed vaping for me,to the point that the ego/clearo's that I use at work just dont cut it.
Niether do the genni's and mesh wick.
I think Im done trying to wick juice up hill, and Im hoping these reo's will give me the vape I want in a portable package.

The rm2 is pretty flood proof. Reo's are very pocket friendly. I've been carrying a grand for months now and haven't had a problem yet. The reomizer can be recoiled and wicked in just a few minutes as well. Good choice in my opinion...

The only decision you really need to make here is what color your first 2 reos will be!

With a regular atty or cartos I find it best to do the blind squonk. Draw without firing and squonk till you hear a gurgle or feel the resistance of the juice moving up the tube. Then you are ready to vape. This will put just the right amount of juice into the atty. You won't get any collecting in the drip well if you vape a few times before putting the REO down.

The juice that is in the tube and bottle usually stays there while you are vaping. Some cases of self feeding have happened in hot climate or with 100% PG juice. There is a reducer tube included with your REO. This little piece of tubing is fed up the bottle end of the tubing. Like it says it reduces the flow of juice and helps stop self feeding.

With the RM2 the squonked juice returns to the bottle slowly. Never had a drip well contain juice.

Awesome choice bro. The RM2 is my favorite RBA. It drains pretty well, but sometimes the juice will stay in it too. Not an issue.

The only leaking issues you MAY encounter with the RM2 are:

If the atty was squonked pretty liberally prior to putting it in your pocket and it turns either upside down or towards the airhole.

I have gotten some juice in my catchcup thru the 510 connection cause i dont screw em on real tight. I like my catchcup dry so I wanted to put an end to the wet catch cup. I fixed this by taking an oring out of a spare REO grand bottle cap, stretching it out a little so it fits completely outside the 510 connection in the catchcup, then screwing down the RM2 nice and tight. Problem solved. Totally dry catchcup.

Additionally, I put my grand in a very compact zip sunglasses case when in my pocket for extended periods, like on a hike or in the mall just so it doesn't get linty.

You can't go wrong stepping up to a REO and RM2 bro. :)

Eh, you should be warned about using a Reo with a RM2...

...you won't go back to anything else, period.

Granted, it's not the worst drawback to have in a combo...

To Renoman. This might sound overly dramatic, but it's absolute truth. I was a mod junkie before I got my first Reo. I was trying tanks, cartos, drippers, gennies, clearos, buying and making all kinds of different mods. Haven't had an urge to ever since.

Now I fulfill my need to tinker by messing with different coil setups. Completely unnecessary as well, since my very first coil on the first reomizer was perfectly acceptable, leak proof and pocket friendly.

Well Im glad I asked, you all have certainly eased my mind on the drip well issue.
I think my minds made up,but Im going back to plowing through the reo forums, the box mod style didnt appeal to me at first but it has grown on me,and Im mainly concerned with vape quality.
I can see there will be a learning curve, but I think I "get it"

If that's your main concern, I promise you'll never regret getting a REO and an RBA....there is no better vape quality. Really.

Completely unrelated, but you may have the best avatar EVER.
