Here is my take on TC
The goal of TC is to regulate the temperature of the coil, so you can dial it in to just how you like it, and it stays that way. It will take the maximum power the battery has and apply it towards this goal until the battery is at a low enough charge that the mod cannot give you what you want anymore and will need to be recharged. This could occur with %40 of the battery remaining. It probably will not need the max power after the coil is at the temp you set it for, so then goes into a pulse type mode to keep the coil where you set it till you let got of the power button, or reach whatever cutoff timer your mod has.
Another goal of TC is no burnt coils.
You can vape it as warm or as cool as you wish, generally up to 600F or down to 200F.
The flavor will depend on many things, the tank and coil used, type of juice, what settings you have on your mod etc. The best way I can explain this otherwise is similar to cooking a stew, the end result all depends on hows its all put together
Generally speaking, more power = more vapor. Higher temperature also = more vapor. More of either = a hotter vape however.
The 75w TC mod I have is more than capable of producing a vape that is MUCH more than I would ever want. Someone that enters cloud chasing competitions would not use what I use, and I would not use theirs either.
Different mods come closer to meeting the goals of TC better than others. Some TC mods will burn a wick. TC is made to not do that so those mods fail at TC. Others meet the goals just fine.

I recently bought a Wismec Presa 75w TC mod and I really like it a lot. I posted a lot about it and a few similar mods in this thread
SMOK X Cube mini VS. Koopor Mini?? if that might be use full.
Worst case scenario, you get a new mod, use the same tank you have at the same wattage in power mode and your battery lasts much longer. You would also have overhead room to try other things if you like. Hope this helps and feel free to ask questions!
