guys is it okay to roll my koh gen do cotton while inserting it to my 2mm coil?

i first started to do with 3mm cotton, realise that it is kinda loose in the coil and anything more that 3mm i will have difficulties on inserting

then i figured it out using 5mm cotton, roll it just lil bit with both of my hands, insert it and it came out just nice, not too loose and not tight

however i've heard some people said that shouldn't roll the cotton as it will restrict the juice,
am i doing it right?

Yes, wicking is the hardest part, and it varies with each tank...in general, if the wick is too tight in the coil, it won't saturate and you get dry hits...too little and you get flooding/leaking, that's why they always say, not to tight, not too loose. Unfortunately there is a lot of frustrating error involved in getting it to work with a particular tank. Also, in general, if you have large juice channels, you can get away with more wick, smaller (ie subtank rba) you need less...I also found that no matter the method or how much, fluffing the ends of the cotton after cutting helps a lot.
