I have a KR808d-1 "Ace", but I would like to be able to drip and not refill cartomizers. Does the DSE901 atomizer fit the KR808d-1 battery? And if so would it be a good idea to do it that way? Or buy an adapter to use a 510 atomizer on my kr808d-1 battery?
Question fo vets, please help.

I haven't ever owned a kr808 battery but have read several times that the 901 will fit the battery. As far as doing it that way or getting an adapter for a 510, I would say that would be a matter of personal preference. Each of those two attys vape differently. I have been a 510 fan for a long time and would personally use the 510 atty. I ran 901's and rn4075's for a long time on my screwdriver. The rn4075 seems to burn a little hotter than the standard 901's to me. I have heard some complaints of low vapor production with the 901 on a standard battery.
I have tried both the 901 atty and the 510 atty w/ adapter (using right now) I like both of them. Both of them work just great on a KR in my opinion. I think the 510 produces just a tad more vapor as I think it may not burn quite so hot as quickly. That's my personal observation and theory.
By far my favorite combo, and it is fabulous for making homemade mods because you can grab n-type (or m-type if they are out by the way) connectors at any shack and build your little heart out - and Cartomizers, 901s, and adapters will screw right on
