OK so I got a VTR. Seems everyone has their own opinion on which battery to use. You appear to be the most knowledgeable though (no offense everyone). What battery would you recommend to use? I have been using all different power settings. I'm sure I'll settle one eventually but I want something that will last for awhile and can handle that variation.

I would assume not to trust anyone on eBay? ....from what I've read.

I don't own a VTR myself, but I have read that the VTR is fussy about the dimensions of the 18650 battery that it will accept. I believe it was Grimm Green who reported that some Efest batteries (the 2250mAh?) are too long. I'd also question whether the Panasonic NCR hybrid batteries (green) will fit, as they have a slightly longer length & wider diameter than other brands.

The gold standard of mod batteries has been the AW 18650 IMR 2000mah battery. I'm quite certain that it will fit in the VTR, and it will prove to be a reliable performer in the VTR. These are what I use in all of my 18650 mods, whether they be regulated or mechanical.

The trusted vendor for these batteries would be through RTD Vapor.

I received 2 ultrafire batteries with it and 2 of those single charger crappy chargers. They seem to last a good 9 hours at about 10 minute vape each hour. That's on 7.5 to 13 power. From what I read with fire in the name is bad and a 2nd tier battery. People have been saying to use Panasonic but there's about 100 variations of the one I need.

The ones I have take forever to charge too. I have order a better charger though.
